It's another wonderful opportunity to be writing on the concept for this weekend engagement of which I've chosen the topic Three Lives
The weekend engagement concept is hosted by @galenkp on the WEEKEND EXPERIENCES community.
Picking this topic was quite easy because it's something I'm sure many of us have fantasised about from time to time. What if you had the opportunity to live more than one life, you'd definitely have the opportunity to do more and live more.
FIRST LIFE : SURVIVAL

Coming from a developing nation has given many of us a big wake up call on the difference between reality and what we actually want.
My first life would be solely dedicated to growing myself knowledgeably and financially. I'm of the opinion that if you don't want to spend the last years of your life still working, then you should do the work early.
As much as the allure of having more time might want to tempt me to have fun. My first life would be solely aimed at making more money because where I'm from, survival is a reality you learn from a very young age.
SECOND LIFE : SURVIVAL AND FUN

I've never heard of anyone who walked the path of life and was immune to mistakes, so at this stage there must've been a lot of mistakes made in my first life that I would want to correct.
It's quite possible that my initial attempt at creating wealth would fail, or it could be successful but I would wish I'd already had more fun in my first life.
The second life would be dedicated to finding a balance between working and having fun. As much as work is also important, there are some things you need to experience at least once as a person.
I'm not too social but I absolutely love travelling from one place to another. Touring the world would be something I would absolutely love to spend my second life doing.
THIRD LIFE : FAMILY

At this point, I've tried to have fun and make money regardless of whether i was successful or not. Knowing I've tried my possible best would give me a sense of accomplishment.
This life would thus be dedicated to family.
Home is where the heart belongs and when things don't go according to plan, family is where you're still loved unconditionally.
Although spending time with family doesn't mean you stop chasing the bag or having fun, but at this point you realize the whole point of all that hardwork was for family.
So I would choose to spend more of my third life creating memories and sharing experiences with my family.
