People going about their businesses
At this stage in human civilization, I feel like although there are many differences in the various human societies across the planet, there are certain things that are inherently similar from one society to another.
It's seems majority of human social relationships has degenerated into robotic smilies faces. A generation where you can't stop to show too much emotion because there just isn't time to do that, so you just fake it for as long as required and move on.

This takes me back to covid19 days where most countries were enforcing mandatory lockdowns, flight bans just to prevent the spread of the virus.
Although many individuals could work from home, there was largely a huge percentage of people who had time on their hands with nothing to do with.
Time which was the currency that you couldn't afford to waste, was now extravagantly surplus. People eventually had to start looking for ways to fill up the extra time they had on their hands.
You couldn't go outside, so people started to look inward. One of the positives that most people would admit came from the lockdown is that they started spending time on seemingly unimportant things that made them happy.
You have people reconnecting with their families who they'd previously been spending little time with. Some people began to build skills they'd previously forgotten they had and some found new business ideas.
I know of a particular individual who lost his job, but decided to sell his car and get a cab instead. Today he still drives as a cabdriver.

This shows that our present society leaves us with little or no time to pursue other interests, thus making us miss out on other important parts of our lives.
There's literally very little time to truely connect with other people because you're already focused on survival onky. Humans are meant to be social creatures, but sadly it seems with more technology and civilization we're slowly shifting.
One of the best solution would most likely be shorter working hours or better pay. This would leave people with enough time and money to pursue other interests that'll improve their lives.
Dead men have zero worries, when you as an individual realizes this you'll understand the need to sometimes take time and make yourself happy.
