My weekend was spent in a laboratory. I was summoned by the thermodynamics practical director to come help him in the laboratory, and I decided to share some of the pictures of the machines in the lab.
The thermodynamic mechanical laboratory is one of the biggest in the University. The lab is equipped with sophisticated instruments.
It is necessary to know the theory of each machines and equipments to be able to work with them, but they can be used in many different ways.
Machine for Measuring pressure in the system.
This is a car engine, It was very heavy. Its weight was so much that it would take at least 5 people to lift it up.
In the laboratory is an old car whose parts and engine has been removed. The man in the lab said the car has been there for over 20 years.
20 years? I shouted! What is it's function in the lab "I asked". The man replied and said "It's function is to keep surprising you all". There are some parts of the car that are used for practical as well.

And lastly here is steam, temperature and pressure machine, for the determination of the relationship between temperature and pressure in a closed vessel
