Finally had the chance to post in weekend Experience
Hope you all are having the nicest weekend 💜
Unlike other weekend activities,i attended an event and was the lead usher at the event
I got informed yesterday that our service was needed,even with the short notice the turn up was amazing
We came out regardless.
It was my aunt's traditional marriage event and so more efforts was put in to grace the event
With our presence as ushers the marriage turned out more colourful
Some of the things we did were
We ensured that the aisles,walkways and designated sitting areas were clear and safe
We calmly assisted with disputes regarding seats
We helped in notifying the supervisors of any problems with facilities and assist guests with complaints or concerns
We helped in the sharing of refreshments and that particular scenerio was hectic
The event was going well not until it was time for refreshments 😂
The people surprisingly turned wild in struggles for food and beverages
This happens often but today's own was unexplainable
At some point i wished to forward the hands of time just so i could leave the event at once (they were on our necks).
The event was fun tho
I got to meet with dignitaries
People with official positions and the most interesting and satisfying part was that we got a new contract(to usher in a wedding event) and the mentioned pay was huge 💃💃
My weekend Experience was fun that i couldn't wish for more .
After the event we got our refreshment and our pay which was my main reason for attending
I gained a lot today from attending that event.
Learnt new strategies and got complements concerning our team🥰
I feel there's a need to go out and have fun during weekends,take a walk, meet new people and go places
