What three words define your life so far and why? Explain each one. Are you content with it or would you make changes?
Hi, guys. Hope you're doing great!
The three words I can use to describe my life at this moment are: Work, learning and living.
Let's talk about each of them:
Why work?
Well, Since I started working last year, I've only been doing that, taking only just brief periods of time to visit my mom and enjoy a little of this life. Education takes a lot of time, dealing with three hundred kids during the week can drain all of your energy. An in addition to the educational part, I have to deal with the emotional and psychological part too. There are a lot of kids in my school that needs a lot of attention and love. So, I think many of them feel comfortable talking with me, because I've heard a lot of good and bad things.
Therefore, when I come home, I just want to lay in bed the rest of the day, but I can't. I have to make money, son in the afternoons, after resting just a little bit, I get out with my aunt to sell cakes, coffee and Quesillos (This is a dessert too). I return home around 7:30pm to make another cake for the next day and to prepare my classes for school.
Why learning?
In this life, We have to be able to adapt, and thus to learn new things. I don't know if it is a casualty, but I have this ability to connect with kids, and I think that's been the reason I get along with them. However, in the pastry world, I'm a merely amateur. I'm learning, thou. I've been watching videos to make my work better. Learning new techniques, and making errors, because without them, I cannot see my improvement. Every day, I think I'm improving and people like my desserts, so I guess I'm doing good.
And finally, living…
Life is about to live, and I have been living so far. Maybe I don't have the time to enjoy good things, but I'm happy. I'm always trying to do my best, to communicate with my mom and dad, with my friends and family. Laughing at my students stories, and giving them some advice when they ask for it. My job as a teacher has been hard, but if one of those three hundred students get something meaningful from me, like my pieces of advice or sermons and do something to change their lives in a good way, I guess it'll be great.
So, these are the three words that define my life so far, and I'm good with them.
