In this blog, I will be sharing with you where we bought and got our dinner. This day was probably a busy day here at our office, and since we worked overtime, we searched for somewhere to eat and decided to just take out. The one who would pick it up was me and my coworker. Our ma'am had already called Penong's working staff, and we were waiting for the work staff to tell us that the food was ready.
The Call and Pick-Up
We received the call a short while later, and since it was getting close to seven o'clock - we were hungry, we then went right away to answer it.
When we arrived,the staff said, "Good evening, ma'am," to which we replied, "Good evening too." The food was still hot, and it smelled so good!
Minutes later,
the cashier delivered us the bill, and we paid with the money my ma'am provided us.
Christmas Display at Penong's
Right before leaving, I took some pictures of Penong's as a reminder of how their Christmas display really gives a sense of the Christmas season.
The Nativity Scene
As you enter Penong's, on the right side, you will see a beautifully crafted nativity scene. It shows a Christmas scene with Mama Mary, baby Jesus, Joseph, and some wise men. They are in a little house made of grass and sticks, and there are some sheep and an angel. And yes, just like others, it's all lit up with pretty lights.
The Left Side Decorations
On the left side of the nativity scene, there are colorful triangular flags hanging from the ceiling, and there’s also an air conditioner, which makes the room cold. There are Christmas decorations that look like tinsel doves. It really adds cheerful vibes to the place. From here, I can tell that it's a well-maintained area.
Dining Area Vibes
Here’s their dining area with a simple and cozy vibe. Like earlier, there are colorful triangular flags on the ceiling, and there’s also a TV on the wall, which is useful for customers like us who are waiting for our orders.
As you can see, this space has wooden tables and chairs for seating.
Festive Decorations
They also have colorful, shiny stars hanging from the ceiling, and there are string lights hanging down as well.
Security Reminders
Right before leaving, there are signs reminding people not to leave valuables unattended.
Foods
By the way, this is what my superior ordered, and as you can see, it’s two to-go boxes of food. It’s grilled chicken with a side of rice. There are also utensils included in the box.
Aside from this, we also ordered barbecue pork with a dipping sauce. It’s actually sweet and savory, especially when dipped in their sauce. Both the meat and chicken are tender and juicy.
The overall look is a mix of festive and practical.
