Every woman wishes for an ideal date with her ideal man, and I am no exception. I can't remember the last time I had a date with a man — probably a decade ago, lol. But I never experienced my ideal date, not even with my first love. Speaking of an ideal date, some would wish to have a date under the stars in an open field surrounded by glimmering lights. In some movies, I've seen couples dating while laying on a blanket with pillows in the back of a truck and looking at the stars with romantic music and wine. That truly looks romantic, and I wish to experience that too. I admit that's one of my ideal dates. For the current Weekend Engagement Topic 160, @galenkp asked to draw our ideal date. So below is my ideal date that I wish to have once I meet my ideal man. I'm not hoping for that, though. But who knows?
My ideal date with my ideal man
Travel to the countryside
Dating in the cities isn't my forte, and I prefer to travel to the countryside. I wish I could meet a man with a car, though, lol, that's too ambitious. But if not, then any transportation will do. I would want to travel in a convertible car with an open roof to see the view clearly. Perhaps I've been influenced by the Korean dramas I watched recently. I want to raise my hands and be embraced by the cool air. We would play upbeat music to make the journey more enjoyable and sing along with the song. The last destination will be in the countryside, then we will settle on a secluded beach.
Beach date
Perhaps a beach date is the best thing to do this summer. I never had one, to be honest, so I want to experience it. Smelling the fresh air and salty sea, listening to the soothing sounds of the waves, walking barefoot on the white, fine sand, and swimming in the cool water would be perfect for me.
I want a picnic by the beach with an umbrella and a bench. On the ground is a blanket with our basket of food. Soothing music will be played while we are enjoying our meal. After eating, we would soak in the water. One thing I want to do while in the water is play water volleyball. Then next will be boat paddling and snorkeling. I've been yearning to do this with my friends, but none of them likes underwater exploration. I want to explore underwater while holding the hand of my man and see beautiful sea creatures up close. Some Hive bloggers who have done this have inspired me to do so. And hopefully, someday, with or without a man, I can make this happen. And of course, the day wouldn't be complete without taking the nature trail.
Watch the sunset
Watching the sunset by the beach is definitely ideal, and it is more romantic if we walk barefoot while chatting. Oftentimes, we take things for granted without minding their benefits, like walking in nature or simply watching the sunrise or sunset. As a nature lover, doing so can put a positive spin on my emotions. This can easily relax my mind and divert my mood to a positive one. No matter what it is or wherever it is, nature always gives me comfort and relieves stress. With my ideal man, everything will be perfect, even the simplest things. We will end the day by stargazing under the night sky while having a candlelight dinner by the beach with romantic music at the back.
I don't need a fancy date at a fancy restaurant. Just give me a ride somewhere far from the city, walk with me in nature, play with the waves, catch the sunset and the moon, stargaze under the night sky, relax, and enjoy. That's all I wish for.
