I think all of us who write always sow our best seeds in our creation and where we put our energy is blossoming to make it better every day…

Thoughts on my nightstand
Products in or on your bedside table
Tell us about the products in or on your bedside table. Explain why they are there, what you use them for, how they work, their benefits or practical applications. It can be explicit or vague.
I invite you to participate in this THE WEEKEND concept. Here is the link:

I will write to you a little about the little things I keep on my nightstand because even if you think that the sobriety and the meaning they hide for me does not give room for jokes and smiles, you are wrong.
It gives that moment, that point to laugh, to joke a hundred times, to feel the comfort of having what I require at hand, next to the stay of my bed, the one that gives me my sleep, dream, rest and lose consciousness until the next day.
I have enjoyed laughing, joking and photographing my nightstand and its drawer with the youthful curiosity to share with you my most intimate secrets (rituals) before going to sleep. Worthy of recording for a hidden camera show (laughs).
Experimenting in this way in these spaces #we102-weekend-commitment. I reveal my used inventions before going to sleep.
These allow me to be able to "see" clearly, "hear" what the tinkle of my little bell wants to tell me; "taste" the mysteries of my bedside table, smell sweetly my favorite incense; but above all and most importantly.... "Touching" with the soul, without material things to show off.

And as life is best lived with love and humor, this girl from the Caribbean, from this land of the beloved sun Maracaibo, my city happens to share her night gadgets (laughs) this has been a moment to de-stress, to smile at these moments that take us out of the routine and elementary.
And it is that all these inventions at the side of my bed are there "because that's how I go to the party to sleep". And it is that appearances are deceiving, everyone has their own lifestyle and here I share mine, without going into depth (laughs).
Thank you for this challenge to share our world #weekend-engagement. It is a pleasure to unveil with joy, my feminine nightstand:
About my nightstand, use, function, and benefits.
Reading glasses, the ones I use during the day I keep in the nightstand drawer.
Reading lamp (To create warmth when reading.) I read for only an hour every day before going to sleep, I've been doing it since I was a child, and it relaxes me.
Books (I am currently reading Machiavelli's The Prince) his work allows me to reflect on how cognitively biased we can be to generalize a positive or negative trait of a person, even though we do not have much information about them.
Alarm clock (the alarm is only active Monday through Friday) on weekends I keep it in the nightstand drawer) on weekends I get up when my natural clock wakes me up.
Thoughts (also part of my nightstand are my positive thoughts, of loving myself before I go to sleep and when I wake up, this brings unimaginable benefits to my soul, to my grateful heart that allows me to take my life by the hand and create it as I wish it to be every day.
Emergency lamp (where I live the electricity goes out a lot) so it is good to have it handy in case I have to go to the bathroom and not trip over anything. It's for personal safety, so I don't bump my feet or knees on anything).
Lavender tea, because of its sedative effect, it helps me fall asleep, so I usually drink a cup of this infusion before going to bed helps me sleep better.
Lavender essential oil, helps me fight insomnia, I usually use a few drops directly on my pillow, on my wrists, behind my neck, hundred, or behind my ears, its aroma is magical, it relaxes me and I fall asleep quickly.
Cell pone, on my table as far away from my bed as possible, I must have it there because my daughters don't live in my house.
Bronze bell. I usually ring it when there are noises in the outside environment, or when my partner snores and despite moving it does not stop (laughs), its frequency emitted when I sound it softly benefits me by the feeling of peace and tranquility that transmits me. He stops snoring.
And if none of this works for my nightly ritual before falling asleep, I opt to get up and walk to my balcony and look at the sky, the moon and the stillness of the night, to go back to bed.
This routine, ritual to go to bed is a product of the environment that exists in my city, the electricity goes out every day at night between 5, 6 hours each day, mosquitoes, heat and other things keep away sleep. Obvious reasons for so many plans in my night table.
Inside The Drawer
Books, box of acetaminophen, cream for my hands and feet, pop-up lamp, Vaseline to moisturize my lips, electrical appliance controls, lavender incense cones, which I sometimes light when I'm reading.
I try not to put so many things in it (the drawer), I usually clean it out once a week to discard what no longer works for me, nor benefits from being there.
These are my essentials, they work as my antidote to feel good when my worrisome thoughts come to my night table uninvited, so I feel safe, calm, to fall tucked in the subtle arms of Morpheus (God of sleep).
Thank you for allowing me to write in #weekendend-engagement every weekend. In each story I create I plant seeds that determine the motivations that drive me to go for more, I use the truth to explore what happens in my life and my emotional memories to nurture my work and what life has given me as a learning and tool to share with all of you who read me.
