The impact of consumerism has tattooed them on our souls, affecting us due to the conditioning of values that are given to products, goods, and services, in addition to the use of networks as a panacea for science and marketing. This has overwhelmed the excess of collectivism over individuality.
First they know it through the networks, where the advertising of companies affects our purchasing decisions, that in the thought process /reason of the brain, although they are not the best for the planet and for everyone.
It is not frivolity what I say on this topic, it is a whole system of consumption at all levels, it is crossing mental boundaries.
Therefore, there is too much bombardment with consumerism, for the unnecessary spending on products, goods and services encouraged by marketing that makes us believe as consumers that it is a necessity or that it is a luxury, and that it can be within reach regardless of how the means of production affect us all and the environment.
The necessary consumption goes into the background and excessive consumerism is privileged and even due to chemical or emotional addiction, it is a real current public health problem and for the destruction of the environmental control systems of the planet and of all the species that live in it.
I am thinking about my country and beyond everything, we must apply the principles and values of responsible consumption to be aware of the impact we generate on our beautiful blue planet. I miss individualism, autonomy and the power of free choice as the essence of Being a Creator of ways to recreate life in society.
The publicists have enjoyed the idiosyncrasies of my country.
We are survivors of years of total turmoil in my country, in recent times there is not much purchasing power and the consumption of misleading offers is the order of the day. Especially in products of such unknown brands that are in another language, or in delivery's of products that do not even look like the photos online.
The consumer favors the experience, as they call it now, that is to say: the packaging, the service, the presentation of the product. Even though with what you paid, you could buy products at the supermarket, like for breakfast all week. What's the excuse: I deserve it. As if being hungry and eating were a merit and not a biological condition. We're in a bad way and we have the lost focus.
Here in my country, for example, it is impressive, how they spend plastic, paper, cardboard....when you have lived through the shortcomings, you appreciate a napkin, you know where it comes from and the environmental impact of wasting it. There is also a lot of incentive.....but it takes a long time to educate them all. There are more pressing needs to be addressed to contribute to the protection of the environment and, at the same time, to a better quality of life for those who inhabit it.
Healthy thinking is healthy.
The society of consumerism does not take care of the individual, it is the family built in solid homes, productive families in every social sense, which sustains society. Collectivism has made us herds, and he wraps us up with more consumerism in endless series of products, goods and services among other things.
I take advantage of everything I can in my usual supermarket close to home, and I buy my things much cheaper and in cardboard baskets; I also contribute to the non-waste of food, which always gives me a lot of grief; I was born and grew up between the decades of the 50s and 60s, a time of very young parents and with enough straits to get large families ahead, and nothing was thrown away, nothing was left on the plate, everything was taken advantage of, and everything was arranged so that he would reach us...!
