It's KhaY here, and it's my first time posting in this Weekend Experiences community. I've been pretty busy reviewing for my refresher subject, so I haven't had much time to spend here on hive.

I'm incredibly thankful for stumbling upon this amazing community where I can freely express and discuss my weekend adventures and experiences with like-minded individuals.
With no class scheduled for Sunday, I made the decision to head back home to be with my family.

I'm looking forward to October because that's when I'll be starting my internship or teaching as a student teacher in an elementary school. I'm thrilled about it, but I'm also feeling a bit nervous. However, I have faith that God will guide and support me through this exciting journey.
Here I go! My loved one drove me home.

I'm so amazed by the green scenery beside the highway. Whenever I'm away from my hometown, what I miss the most is the beautiful natural surroundings and the refreshing cold climate that my hometown is known for. I have been missing my hometown a lot lately because being here always gives me such a calm and peaceful state of mind.

When I got home, we decided to have something to eat and enjoyed a coconut drink. It was actually my brother who picked the coconut from the farm. I didn't manage to take a picture of it because I was too excitedly waiting at home!
While my mother was preparing lunch for all of us, I took it upon myself and my loved one to prepare a refreshing coconut milk drink to enjoy with the meal.

After scooping out the inside of the coconut, I added a can of condensed milk, a sky flake or a biscuit, and some ice.
The drink is absolutely delightful and I highly recommend it to all hivers. It's incredibly refreshing, especially when served chilled.
I am eagerly looking forward to enjoying the wonderful lunch prepared by my mother! I have been craving for this specific meal for quite a while.

The food is absolutely delicious, and I'm feeling quite satisfied. I'm truly grateful to my mother for preparing such a delightful meal.
The next time, I'm looking forward to cooking a dish like this!
Today has been absolutely fantastic! I had the most amazing day with my family, cooking up a storm and getting everything ready. I feel incredibly grateful to God for blessing me with such a wonderful day spent with my loved ones.
They made me feel truly cared for by taking the time to ask about my studies and activities. It was wonderful to have the opportunity to rest and have meaningful conversations with each other. Their genuine concern for my well-being made it one of the most amazing experiences.
