Good evening hivers, I wish you a happy weekend.... Next, I share with you a very interesting question from our friend @galenkp I hope my personal experience can help and guide you... Let's get started!
Do you make a habit of regularly tracking and budgeting for your costs and expenditure?
To answer this question I must make a small preamble.... Many times when we enjoy an economic stability that makes us lead a comfortable life and without economic worries we do not have the precaution of controlling our expenses, nor to take control of what we spend, because we have the certainty that prosperity will always take us by the hand and precisely that was my personal experience in a past, where I could buy without looking at the price and without stopping to think if I really needed what I was acquiring, but over the years this bonanza in my economy was changing and what I thought would last forever was transforming, the economy of my country made some people were affected and I became one of them.
With this experience I learned how to manage my economy and I understood that we must give value to all our income, we should never underestimate the prosperity that at some point may come to us thinking that the balance will always be tilted in our favor, because sometimes by circumstances beyond our control everything can take an unexpected turn and change.
I have been acting maturely with money for a long time, where I manage expenses well, sometimes I go out of budget to treat myself to something I want to buy, but without that expense generating waste in my finances. I have some tools that may help some of you: I have a notebook with different divisions, in one I have written down the monthly fixed expenses. I have a list of things that are not necessary, but that would make me very happy to buy, here I am very generous and if the price is expensive it is not an impediment to writing them down, since it serves as a stimulus and motivation to work and be able to buy them, it is It feels very satisfying to see some wishes crossed off on that list because they have already been purchased. I am sure that by putting them on paper and reading from time to time we are transmitting strength and energy to make them come true. I have a folder where I keep purchase invoices, I only keep them for 1 month, this helps me visualize if at any time I bought an item that was not necessary. With these tools I have learned to stop and analyze if the product I have in my hand really needs it. Before I had the habit of buying many cleaning items to try them all at the same time and see which one was really effective, you can imagine the amount of products that I had accumulated, sometimes I felt like they were compulsive purchases, now I wait patiently for them to be used up.
All my life I have been fascinated by perfumes, I used to have a lot, but with prices so expensive in my country, I have looked for other cheaper alternatives. Although my favorite perfume is on my wish list, I hope to cross it off soon haha I always try to save some money to pamper myself or my mother with a nice gift, my past experience taught me to be thrifty, but I also learned that when we wish We must spend without regret, this gains strength when it is a gift for my loved ones or for that special person who lives inside me.
