About my weekend last week when the temperatures are still very hot, the best weekend getaway is where there is water and shade.
So I headed to the river to spend the day in nature among the trees, where there is cool water and a refreshing atmosphere.
We set out since the morning about 10:00. It took us about an hour to reach the river, as we got a little lost from the track, the road is narrow and similar, where we have to go up in the mountain roads and then go back and go down to the heart of the mountain.
When you arrive you will see that the place is full of life, the children are playing with the water and the parents are sitting and enjoying away from the high temperatures. Young people play, sing and laugh.
You must reserve a table from the place to be able to sit and get comfortable service, you can take your food, drinks and anything you want, or you can order from the restaurant. And you have two options, either a table on the side of the river or a table in the water, where you sit and the water runs from under you, we took two tables in the water, the water was very cold because it is near the source of the river, I felt cold even though the heat is very high, but it's the cold you need in the summer.
We took our favorite drink with us, beer! And some crackers, as one of our habits is not to drink any kind of beverage, whether alcoholic or other, without having some crackers next to it.
Also one of the most important things we do on the river, is to put a watermelon in the river water until it cools, as if you put it in a refrigerator.
After I finished the beer, the food was ready, I couldn't photograph it because my friends were really hungry after swimming and drinking, they didn't give me a chance lol.
I forgot to tell you that the water comes out from the ground and is very cold and gathers among the rocks as if it were a swimming pool in the middle of the forest, friends swam in it, but I preferred to sit and enjoy the water touching my feet only.
After lunch, it's watermelon time, we cut the watermelon but we don't have any more clean plastic plates only spoons, so a friend invented this way to eat watermelon and we liked it.
Do not forget the atmosphere of music and drumming, although the place provides amplifiers for music, there are people who play the drums and add an atmosphere of enthusiasm as well. These manifestations are very common in our rivers. Despite everything, people here love the atmosphere of happiness and singing. We had a very fun and refreshing day too, waiting for future plans for next weekend, I don't know where the friends will go but I will suggest the beach I don't know if it will be accepted 😆
