Hello weekend lovers! I hope your weekend is as wonderful as mine.
Well for this weekend I decided to go with my friend to a nearby city to try all we can eat and have some great time, but more importantly we decided to take the train!
There has been a railway track in my city for a long time, but I have never tried it before! Maybe because it takes longer than the car and I'm in a hurry every time I go to this city. But this time I'm going to get on the train and I'm so excited.
It took about two hours but I was happy all the way, I mean comfortable seating, beautiful views and great company.
When we arrived I was really hungry, so the first thing we did was go to breakfast, we were supposed to have breakfast at a specific restaurant we had agreed upon in advance, but I was really hungry, so we stopped on the road and got this wonderful sandwich, it's a mixture of sausage, salami and turkey with cheese. It was irresistible.
My friend didn't eat anything so we proceeded to the restaurant we had agreed in advance for breakfast, we got fatteh, labneh and fried eggs, with tea.
The breakfast was delicious, which gave us energy to walk around the city and talk all day long, we went to the market and bought some things, clothes, accessories and so on.
As we wandered, we discovered that we had reached a street called Food Street! All the shops here are dedicated to preparing food or appetizers and sweets, we decided to go in and try one of them, we had heard about before. The place was nice, and all the dishes are rich in chocolate and ice cream, I ordered a chocolate crepe with ice cream, while my friend ordered a waffle. When she arrived she looked so delicious, I mean chocolate everywhere, when I tasted it I discovered that it tasted better than it looks. We really enjoyed every bite.
When we're done, we keep going everywhere, I mean, everything looks nice when you have time to look around.
Meanwhile, we came across a place that prepares donuts, and of course we won't miss it for sure, lol We've eaten a lot already, but believe me when you're walking around you'll feel hungry all the time and ready to eat whatever you come across. We got two chocolate donuts and they were delicious but I think they are a bit small. It didn't bother me because I wanted to make room for lunch.
For lunch I got a burger and my friend got a grilled chicken sandwich and some fries.
After all this wandering and eating we felt really sleepy and tired, so we headed to the sea, had some coffee and enjoyed the sunset view, this part will remain the best part of the day, the sun embraces the sea and disappears between its arms, to give the water a warm orange color.
When it got dark we decided to go to the amusement park, it was already late, and there weren't many people, but the amusement park was lit and people were having fun, we decided to ride in crash cars, I gave the phone to my friend to take some pictures because I am not a skilled driver and I was afraid that the phone would fall from my hand. Well I laughed so much every time he bumped me, and I had such a great time, I really enjoyed it as kids.
We rode on the ferris wheel, it was big and it was scary I couldn't take pictures, I was enjoying and scared at the same time, but it's a nice experience, I've ridden it before in the day but at night it looked more scary.
We stayed up almost all night, and around 4am we headed to the train station again, waiting for the train to come home.
It was a wonderful and unforgettable weekend, I felt so happy and had a great time that made me forget the tiredness of the whole week and filled me with energy to endure next week with a smile.
