Saturday is a special day, not only because it is a holiday for employees, but students and teachers like me will also have a shorter working day than normal days. If on weekdays we will go home until 3 pm then Saturday we will go home at 11 pm. That is why on Saturdays there are many activities outside of school hours waiting for students' intimacy with teachers, or even to strengthen students and students.
Like last Saturday, I invited students to have lunch together by grilling chicken and fish. Actually, this event has been delayed for about 1 month, considering that my event is quite busy and there are many school events that must be completed, so it was only last Saturday that this event could be realized with many parties who helped me. This event is actually a gift for students who enter the flag-raising troops at my school who have carried out their duties well during the 77th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia on August 17, 2022 yesterday. It's been quite a while huh? Although it was a little late to hold it, the enthusiasm of the students was still big enough to carry out this event.
This event is actually very simple, we gathered at the house of one of the students who has a yard for today's baking event, the student also provided urap as one of our complementary foods today, the students were happy to do this grilling event, and the host already provided 4 kilograms of chicken and 2 kilograms of tilapia. Even though the event was very simple, their joyous faces were clearly visible. This will create a sense of camaraderie and cohesiveness of the students. And when the baking program was over, we ate the dish together not using plates but using banana leaves to make the togetherness even closer. This is the most beautiful Saturday for me and my students, because next year we will definitely have a new face as red and white flag bearers. Have you ever had an event like this?
