On this occasion, I'm going to share my unexpected weekend experience gate-crashing a safari-themed birthday party that a good friend's sister co-prepared and organized!
In my previous blog, I mentioned that I had an engagement with an old friend on a weekend. It so happened that an important stuff that her sister needed for the party was left at home. So, eventually, she had to run an errand for her sister and I tagged along there.
To make the long story short, she and I went gate-crashing at someone's birthday party event!
THE VENUE
We took a habal-habal (means motorcycle for hire in English) in going up there from our location. I should say it was a bit of an adventure going to this unfamiliar place because we might have passed by a concrete road but there were a lot of curves along the way!
We just told the driver to drop us at "Mahogany Grove Subdivision" and after about 15-20 minutes, at last, we arrived in this very quiet and peaceful subdivision safely!
It was both our first time coming here so I took quick snaps of this private neighborhood.

THE PREPARATION
As we arrived at the venue, we found the organizers busy preparing and setting up this very grand birthday celebration.
My friend's sister was in charge of making the DIY balloon garland while the others were into setting up the mobile party playground.

I was quite impressed at how festive this birthday party was!
As I looked around, I discovered that this Kids' World Mobile Party Playground owned by the proprietors, Mr. and Mrs. Jenny and Ariel Belandres, does not only bring the playground to one's party but arts and crafts, too.

Not only do the children enjoy playing inside the large and colorful playground, but they also get to explore and make use of their artistic skills through the arts and crafts included in the package.
The Birthday Treats
The package also included party food carts that serve unlimited popcorn, cotton candy, and french fries that the kids would surely love.
The birthday host also prepared birthday giveaways which I noticed were mostly toys placed in paper bags featuring the safari theme.
As I also looked at the table, assorted toys were displayed which I assumed would be the prizes to be given to the winners of the fun games and a bamboo rack with toys to be used in the pabitin game.

PabÃtin is a fun game played during Filipino fiestas and traditional parties. A rack of items is suspended over a crowd who attempt to grab at the stuff as the wooden rack is lowered and raised, up and down.
The word pabitin comes from the root bitin, which means ‘hanging.’
And, of course, this festive birthday party won't be complete without this jungle-inspired birthday cake and cupcakes heavily guarded by these wild jungle animals around.
After a while, the cordially invited kid guests started to arrive and were warmly welcomed by the pretty little birthday girl in her simple yet elegant black dress.
As the fun party kicked off, the guests truly had their best day ever getting to enjoy the fun games as well as the birthday treats offered and served by the very benevolent host.

It was, indeed, a memorable birthday party ever for pretty little Pola!
As I asked the organizer of the party, I was astonished upon hearing that depending on the package availed but usually it costs about Php50,000.00- Php70,000.00 (which is about 931.30- 1,303.98 USD) would include the food, giveaways, birthday cake & treats, mobile party playground and etc.
Disclaimer:
Since I left this fun and festive party ahead before it officially started, the photos taken during the event were not mine but of my friend's sister's Facebook album.
From this weekend experience, I realized what loving parents are capable of doing just for the happiness and joy of a very dear child.
This is all for today's blog dear Hivers. Thank you everyone for spending your spare time reading this blog!
See you again next time and may you all have a wonderful weekend ahead!
