Very happy with the welcome I received in this community a few days ago, today I continue to share and grow with you in Hive.
Today I share with you the view from my morning walk route in a park that I have very close to where I live and visit on weekends.
The place is called Parque del Este, or Generalísimo Francisco de Miranda, it is located towards the east of the city of Caracas, capital of Venezuela, I attend it since I was a child.
The place is called Parque del Este, it is located to the east of the city of Caracas, capital of Venezuela, I have been going there since I was a child, the mountain beautifies the park, and in the photos you can see that it is my companion in almost all my stay.
Every Saturday or Sunday I go and take the opportunity to connect with nature, breathe fresh air, and am grateful to have the opportunity to start a new day. Last Carnival Saturday I was there at 6.30am.
After walking at a brisk pace I walk between 2.5km and 5km, then I retire to dedicate myself to my others activities.
Living near a place like Parque del Este is a great privilege, which I take full advantage of. Sometimes I go accompanied, most of the time alone.
Occupying this space is for me, so I take advantage of it to exercise for 45 minutes, I oxygenate my brain, stretch my muscles and my sight is delighted with all the green that surrounds me, among that green is the mountain that I love the most.
This tousled tree welcomes me, it is located where I start to walk fast with the intention to cover the 2.5kms or sometimes 5km, I love to see it.
From almost every angle of the park the great mountain that borders the city can be seen, looking at it is comforting.
There is a part of the park that has sand, from there you can see the highway. I like to jog there because there is less impact on my knees when I jog. There is a part of the park that has sand, from there you can see the highway. I like to jog there because there is less impact on my knees when I jog. You can see that the mountain is still surrounding the area, watching my momentum.
*I like to stretch in this area of the park.
Tell me if it is not a fortune to have this mountain to say good morning to me and to watch over me while I exercise.
When I come across this mountain pose, my brain already knows that the first 2.5 km are not far to go.
Sometimes I go accompanied, most of the time alone, in this picture I am with my friend Katy.Sometimes I walk around this artificial lake twice, so I meet my goal of 10,000 steps a day and take advantage of the minutes I have left to dedicate to meditate in that place.
This space was remodeled about 3 years ago, this area is one of my favorite in the park. Depending on the time of the day you can see birds like macaws and ducks in this area.
I have found that when I pass through this part of the park, that boat in the background connects me to some of the complex social realities of my country. The mountain in the background reconnects me with hope.
Like a little witch, once I have done my morning run, I happily go to fly on my broom, lie, I got this ecological broom that day in the park.
I wish you a happy weekend, my weekend promises excitement, on Sunday I'm going to rappel! I'll tell you soon about that adventure.
