Hello, Hivers!
It has been a while since my last posting. I had to take a little break to regain my lost strength. I felt like I was drained and I couldn't even ink one sensible sentence.
Here's how and why.😊
Recently, I had a breakdown. I felt like I was bombarded with lots of things at work. I had plans which I wasn't able to pursue. I wanted to have a trip outside Cebu for a breather but it took a back seat due to some time constraints. I felt like everything was just too heavy. I was suffocated. I felt like I couldn't resuscitate myself from drowning, caused by workloads and emotional weight.
Lucky I am to have somebody who listens to me and who is patient when my tantrums attack. He knows well how to calm me down.
We had some important errands to accomplish in the city on a weekend. Having that in mind as our main purpose of traveling, he also invited me over coffee, at the mountains, kilometers away from home. He knew very well I was craving for a trip. So, we had a road trip again, traversing Transcentral Highway and we bumped into CAFESCAPE.
For the countless times I have been going to and fro here, this spot is new, so, we didn't hesitate to take a quick stop. It was around nine in the morning when we reached there. I saw two vehicles in the parking area. I quickly took a photo of its facade. The ladies politely greeted me with a good morning. I took another photo of its logo which looks simple but quite intriguing and inviting. It seemed that it signals a portal to something worthwhile and grand.
Since it was still early, there were no other guests except for me. It gave me the freedom and control over the place. Hahaha. Wondering about the two vehicles? They're the owners. It strongly supported my theory that this cafe was newly opened because the owners were still hands-on with it.
ITS INTERIOR
My eyes were hooked on how spacious the place was. The chairs and tables are evidently new and durable. The vibrant colors of the chairs added excitement to the place. The presence of well-taken care of plants added so much more life. The color of the tiles looks like it handed down the carpet of welcome to every visitor that comes in. It perfectly fits the ambiance, the life, and nature that the place exudes.
THE ABUNDANCE OF VIEW
When I looked around, I was left in awe of its breathtaking view. It is undeniably spectacular. It has a 360-degree view of the vast mountains and trees of Balamban. Nothing could ever feel as relaxed as looking at this view. It feels alive, refreshing, and relaxing. I could feel the cold breeze of the wind touching my skin and leaving me with so much calmness. It took away what I was heavily carrying for quite a while. It lifted me. This view gave me peace. It made me feel light. It made me re-energized.
THE MENU
If you happen to pass by here, feel free to have a quick stop and enjoy the drinks and food that they offer. Here's the menu.
AFTERSHOCKS OF SIPPING A COFFEE
I left the place with a peaceful and light heart. And of course, with the two cups of hot caramel macchiato with which its taste is synonymous to life. It's bittersweet. The bitter are the ways of life, the sweet is the reward if you keep going.
CAFESCAPE is located at Barangay Gaas, Balamban, Cebu. It is surely a place that offers great drinks and mesmerizing view.
It is two in one - a place for coffee and escape.
Thank you for reading and for supporting my blog. Be well. Be safe.
Until the netswriting.
