I like weekends! But who doesn't like them? I think that it was maybe a year ago (or less) when I decided to take my weekend more "relaxed" than before... I was working whole my life for myself and I have the worst boss ever... lol... But, as time passes by, I got aware that it's time to slow down a bit and enjoy small things is important... So, I keep weekends more for myself, my family, and my friends... And of course, exploring nature, or doing longer walks outside...
When I'm outside, I tend to avoid looking at my phone, I don't listen to music (inside my home I do it almost all day), and just try to observe and enjoy the walk itself... And if you check out your surroundings, you will see a lot of interesting people, nature is beautiful, and every time you will spot something new... Even if you are going on the same path every day... It's like in that old saying that the "same" river isn't the same every next time you pass by it...
In the last couple of walks, I have decided to take photos of interesting "stuff" that people put on their houses... Awareness signs, interesting mailboxes, names of homes, etc... And in front of you, you can see one of the "collections" that I made in the small town where I live... The first photo can be categorized as NSFW as it has a bit of nudity... 😂 It is a funny way to show people to watch out for dogs in the house...
These twos are more standard, but I like this region a lot as people like these signs "printed" on ceramic...
It's time to change the subject and move to mailboxes... Even those that are "simple" can be interesting... Like this one in ceramic...
Or this green one that has a small roof on the top...
I remember the time when we had these (without the sexy cap 😃) in my town, but with a different use case than now... Today, they are used by post office workers to store all posts for a specific region, where postmen come to pick them up and deliver them to the final destination...
But before, we were using them to leave our posts directly into them... I remember buying the stamps in a local corner shop, writing a love letter to my 6yo girlfriend in kindergarten, and sending it into one of those...
Now, back to these more creative, "personal" mailboxes... This one reminds me on the logo of the Home Alone movie... 😃

Not really the same, but almost... 😂
This one is actually very simple-made, but still, creative and interesting...
I suppose that this one is brought from the UK... Not just because it's in English, but because it's so different than others...
This one and the other one under this text are my favorites... So cute and creative with a lot of taste!
Another subject change... House names... It's boring to have a street name and number on your house when you can be more unique and more special... So, why not give your house a name and show it to others?
I suppose that these homeowners have ordered these signs to be written as I didn't see two same-named houses...
Btw, this is the name of the street and the number... Boring? I don't think so... It looks awesome!
Why use some neon lights, and ugly prints, when you can put the name of the bar in ceramic and blend into the surroundings... Keeping tradition, showing that you care about your neighborhood, but still stay unique...
The last one is something between graffiti and mural, as it is painted on the wall... This is the name of the bar (Mechanic), which is actually situated right in front of the car mechanic service...
And one photo that has nothing to do with this all, but it symbolizes the end of the day, and in some way, the end of the post... 😃
Which one do you like the most? How does your mailbox look?
Thank you for your time,
ph
