Technology keeps evolving in different ways we can imagine. There is a lot to learn every day hence the need to stay informed.
One of the gadgets that can be used to procure such information is the Phone. They come in different models and different products.
Gone are those days when people have to go the "extra" mile just to get information but now with few clicks on your phone, you can get what you need right there in the comfort of your home.
Maybe some people still prefer the old ways of getting information but I think I will stick to the faster and easier way.
Now if I were to leave my phone during weekdays. I probably can do that because sometimes I will be swamped at work and may or may not be able to use my phone effectively in a day. That is if I don't get a call or text from anyone.
But leaving my phone for a weekend? A Big No
I think I will go out of my mind because there are lots of things I can do with your phone in hand especially when I am relaxing during the weekend.
I love to sleep and rest during my weekends. There are lots of activities I can do on my phone while relaxing. I can listen to music on my phone, watch movies from my phone, and so on.
For starters, I play games on my phone to help me keep calm especially when I am getting a Writer's Block and isn't getting any inspiration to write or engage with people online. This is one of my favorite phone games and I love it when I have difficult levels to complete.
Another thing I do is to read e-books. Sure I sometimes get a kick out of reading books on hardcover but then I won't be able to take it out with me if I end up not finishing up the story. But with e-books, I can take my books with me wherever I go.
I sometimes visit the saloon during the weekends and while in the salon, I keep myself busy with my phone. It helps when I am making hair that takes longer hours.
I see my phone as my companion. It's also part of my workplace where I can create content and engage with other people on Hive and outside the blockchain, I have other people I connect to.
But then even if I can do some of these things without a phone, I would still be eager to know what's going on online. The latest information/gossip amongst other things.
Now, don't get me wrong. I am not addicted to my phone. I know when to drop it so I can focus on other things. But letting go of my phone the whole weekend? Sorry But No Can Do 😊😊😊
