It's my pleasure to be here once again and to share on the topics: First Time. It's very important because there's always a first time to every step we take in life and today I'm about to share the most scary moments of my life and a near death scenerio to my follow hivers on the #weekend-engagement. Greetings from @salvictoria22 all the way from the city of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. Hope you'll enjoy my post today. Gracias.
Today's entry will land me in ✨Option two
When was the first time you took your destiny into your own hands - What did you do, what made you do so, what was the outcome and would you change anything looking back in hindsight? Which gives me the opportunity to share a time in my life when I first took my destiny into my own hands. Let's talk the talk.
When I and my siblings were growing up, we were never allowed to go out alone due to the fear of being kidnapped or assaulted by hoodlums in our area. I was so obedient to my parents until I became 15 years old. As a young adolescent and beautiful to behold lol, I decided to follow my Highschool classmates to the river close to our school to swim. Although I've never swammed in the river before, but my dad usual took us to the pool for recreation. This time it's a river of which I didn't know about the depth of the waters beneath. It'll surprise you that all my school friends were good swimmers who practiced swimming since they're about 5 years old and has mastered the act. Instead of me to open up to them I joined them in swimming. I started by bathing in the shore but suddenly something happened! I heard from my innermost mind to leave the water but I was enjoying it since it was my first time to swim in a big river.
What Happened Next
It's like a dream or a scene in the movies when I was hijacked by two of my classmates into about 12 feet deep part of the river. I never knew that they planned the incident. I started screaming and crying, shouting mummy daddy, mummy come and help me, daddy I'm dieing, but my mum and dad were no where to be found closer to the scene. My classmates thought that I knew how to swim but they dropped my in the middle of the river. Gradually I started drowning from one feet to the other. The only thing I could remember was that I saw myself coming out of the water for the first time, the second and before I sank the third time I was rescued by a young man who was passing by the way. My classmates were already gone out of the scene. I had already drank enough water which is about 20 litres or more. I became known when the nickname 20 litres. It wasn't a nice experience at all. This occurrence made to be afraid of the sea and traveling across the river.
I conclude by saying it took God's grace for my to be alive that very day. From that day onward I became more obedient to my parents instructions. Thanks that the most memorable first time experience I thought I should share with you hope it worth reading.
