Who I want to be, if by some miracle I bestow upon the power to change my current being, who would I choose to be? Huh, what a question to unlock the door that holds some chaotic thoughts. Well, I gave it some thoughts and turns out, only three options seem more and more intriguing, so I am choosing them all. Why being restricted by just one possibility?
If I have to choose someone from the human race, I would be some young man living in the 1800s, anywhere in London streets. Working as a playwriter, going to the opera house, writing in front of a small second-floor cottage house window, in candle light. Traveling to places, sometimes by train, foot, carriage, or wooden ships. Be fortunate enough to see the interaction of all the posh higher class, middle class and lower class people. In summary, I just wanna explore the culture of London in the 1800s as an average young man. Even if it's only for a day.
Or, maybe a samurai, but If I could become a samurai, I probably have to be the lone wolf kind, because damn they had so many rules to follow, even though the roles are prestigious and glorious, the rules and extreme heroism is something I would gladly pass. I wanna know what it feels like to be a lone free samurai who has no rules to follow, no honor to abide by. A complete ruthless badass samurai. Who knows, maybe Samurai champloo had a stronger effect on me than I thought.
Now, If I don’t have to choose from the human race, I guess I would be a spider. Living in the depth of a forest, creating my own crafty waves, jumping from one leaf to another, digging holes in the dirt, building traps for food. I could either create my own wave land or kill other spiders and take theirs as souvenirs. Chilling, hunting, or being hunted, whatever life would’ve been, it definitely wouldn’t be boring.
Or, a potato. The rotten ones.
So, there you have it, things I would’ve become if I could. I would either roam around Europe, kill people for money, or craft my own waves and jumping from leaf to leaf. Or, you know.. just be a rotten potato.
What a life! XD
It's an entry for the Weekend-Engagement
