Hello everyone, it’s nice to participate and join another writing prompt for Weekend-Engagement topics: WEEK 180. And I would like to write about this topic:
We all like to spend extra time with our pets over the weekend - Introduce us to your pet and tell us something about it. Someone else's pet will work if you don't have one but remember to use your own photos.
The idea of spending extra time with my pets on the weekends is one thing that keeps me happy.
I have the pleasure of introducing to you Quatro, my cherished dog. At the age of two, she has already given birth to four adorable and mischievous puppies.
My dog is there to listen to me with open ears when I'm feeling depressed. I just know that she enjoys my presence, so I don't feel compelled to say anything specific. I won't hear back, but sometimes keeping quiet is the best course of action. It's all in her eyes. Her concern is genuine and she knows it. She is the one I can talk to when I get home from a demanding and stressful day at school. She can hear every frustration I have.
My dog comes to rejoice with me when I'm happy. She understands when I'm feeling really good. I feel like we have similar energies. Ready to play, she bounces all over the home.
My dog is aware of my busy schedule. She doesn't have exaggerated demands. She just asks for food, playing, and my affection. I can hang out with her without needing to schedule a meeting. She merely exists. She lets me know when she needs my help. Whether it's a straightforward tail wag to indicate happiness or a dejected expression on her face to indicate she needs care.
The workweek doesn't allow us to spend as much time as we would want with our dogs. So we want to make the most of the weekend because we don't have as much quality time.
Make the most of the additional time you have to spend with your dog, whatever you decide to do, and you'll help to strengthen your already solid relationship.
The benefits of having a pet are numerous. They not only offer company, but they can also aid in lowering tension and anxiety. Having a pet can also benefit your physical well-being; for instance, having a dog can encourage you to exercise more. And lastly, having a pet may impart valuable life lessons to kids, like responsibility and compassion. So think about getting a pet if you're searching for a new family member!
Just like any other member of the family, pets require affection and care. They depend on you for basic necessities like food and shelter, but they also require your attention and time. Insufficient time spent with your pet might lead to boredom, anxiety, or even depression.
