Every 1st Sunday of the month, we have a physical gathering with the churchmates that we have in Victory. There are times wherein we are not able to attend due to weather disturbances but today even though there are still a few drops of rain we are still able to leave our home.
Dyn-Dyn isn't that much of a talkative kid and we noticed that already in the past months probably one of the reasons why is because we spend a few hours of speaking to her and exposing her outside. There's still the pandemic and the cases of people are not on the decline, however, if we will let her be in the four corners of our house she will not be experiencing social interactions that much. Our cats will not be caring for her too as they have their own dramas in life.
Going back, our meeting was at 01:00 PM after finishing some tasks in the house and doing some minor edits on the podcast that I am working with, we left our home at around 11:00 AM we planned to eat in a fast-food chain in the Poblacion area as our little one loved their burgers. Prior to her being diagnosed with atopic dermatitis we always order chicken meals but now eating such would trigger her allergic reaction which is kinda sad 😢 April's also included as she's breastfeeding our child.
Public transportation isn't easily accessible here and we waited for more than an hour in the waiting shed for a tricycle to arrive. I am suspecting that it was because petroleum is quite expensive and today's Sunday so very few are going outside.
We reached Poblacion around 12:00 o'clock and just decided to go to McDonald's to eat. It should be in Jollibee but Mcdo is just a stone's throw away from the church. I asked April to just find a good spot that is away from the crowd and a high chair for Dyn-Dyn to use. I on the other hand fell in line and waited for our food.

I just ordered a burger, spaghetti, and fries for the two while for me I picked the crunchy yet dry chicken from Mcdo. Again, we are team Jollibee but out of convenience and hunger, we just ate on Mcdo.
Apparently, Dyn-Dyn picked my trait of being a picky eater after a few spaghetti strands we found out that she isn't also a fan of it. But for the fries and burger, she was!

Overall we enjoyed the place and eating outside the response of our little one is remarkable too as she is doing some eye contact with strangers now and smiling at people who pass by in the windows.
After our event, when we are riding the tricycle on our way home we talked about letting Dyn-Dyn outside of our home more frequently as we are living in a quite far-off place in a community having someone to talk to or interact with will really matter nowadays. Also maybe this is the reason why the pandemic babies have some delays in speech and social development. But then again this is just what we have observed with some friends and us and not backed by multiple research.
If you read this far thank you for reading how I spent my Sunday. Yes, I was away for 2 days both discord and here and that is because I decided to spend more time offline lately.
