Hello friends from the weekend community,
Hi again, standing and analyzing all the 4 options for topics this weekend I found a very interesting one, namely: ,,If you could influence anyone on the planet, other than your own children, in a positive way who would it be and why. What aspects would you attempt to influence, how would you do it and what outcomes would you consider acceptable,,.
In this subject I found myself very well and I remembered the volunteer actions I did with other volunteers in the community to collect garbage left at random (in forbidden places).
As an introduction, I can say that although I grew up in the country, I was taught by my parents to be good, obedient not to do bad things, to learn at school so that later I could secure my future and start a family,but in addition to all these things I learned from my parents, they always guided me to protect the environment and from here I noticed that people have different opinions about the world we live in, some live like this on Earth, so that they don't care, if they leave a lot of garbage behind, others think that the plants and animals belong to them and they can take them with them, either for home decoration or to collect some more trophies. But there are also people who try to live in harmony with all the creatures on the planet, respect nature and the environment.
The best way to take care of the Earth is to teach the community we live in how to do it because it will represent our future.
It is also what I tried through several volunteer actions to gather volunteers who wanted to help clean up the garbage environment left to chance.
I posted all my actions online, but I also went to the schools in the commune where I live and talked to the school principal to organize actions to green some areas in our commune.
Before doing so, we went to many places in our commune and identified all the areas where there was a lot of garbage left to chance.
My deception is very big because even though we have an operator who collects household garbage, the population still leaves all kinds of garbage at random.
The areas identified by me where garbage was left at random were even in the center of the commune, on the bank of a river, in the fields near the commune, a disaster.
In the following I will show you how far people's indifference can go so as to leave tons of garbage on the edge of agricultural roads, on the bank of a river.
Although I expected to be successful with the actions, I saw that this is not the case, in a commune with approximately 4,100 inhabitants, I barely found about 25 people to support these projects.
With the help of some people full of soul, we were able to provide them with transport to the place where the collection action took place, disposable plastic bags, disposable gloves, water for hydration, in fact everything they needed.
When the mayor of the commune holds meetings to which he invites the people from the commune, I was also present and I tried to show them what it means to store or leave the garbage at random, and what are the consequences of these facts.
At these meetings we explain to the citizens the simple rules to keep the environment clean, namely wherever we go to always keep clean behind us, to reduce unnecessary consumption of products, to respect wild animals and their natural environment (in our commune have many hunters), to plant more trees (these being the oxygen of the planet) and finally to learn that nature is life.
This garbage was actually left in the middle of the agricultural road.
Through the garbage we found some clues that helped us identify those who abandoned them there.
With the help of volunteers we managed to collect all the garbage that we knew existed in illegal places and moreover we identified the people who abandoned that garbage, these being drastically sanctioned.
All the areas we showed full of garbage were greened.
After those actions, we still identified areas where garbage was abandoned, but unfortunately I can no longer organize volunteer actions due to pandemic times, you know how this situation is all over the world. I hope that this situation will end as soon as possible so that we can resume the actions of greening nature.
