Welcome back to this gaming series following a gamer/educator whose is mission to collect and battle Pokemon. I love sharing my in-depth knowledge of trivia and tricks for battles, raids, and captures. Like others, I aim to build a collection that spans all types and rarities, capturing every unique Pokemon species. I have played the Pokemon Games for years, and I even began my own Pokemon league in 2020. I gathered friends from all over to share their collections and receive access to a weekly raffle for new Pokemon cards.
Pokemon Expedition Goals:
This New Years I am collecting resources and sharing with the Hive community some of my findings. My cousins and I are chilling out waiting for the countdown. Join on and receive a potentially great trade.
- Catch or Breed Pokemon
One of my primary goals is to befriend many Pokemon and complete the Pokemon HOME Pokedex to qualify for a Regional VGC Tournament. Pokemon HOME will soon be updated to transfer Pokemon from other generations of games and Pokemon GO into modern console games. Until then, I am battling Wild Pokemon and completing Tera Raids to get strong Pokemon with good genetics(High or Low IVs) and Shiny Pokemon.
- Coordinate Tera Raid Battles
Generation 9 introduced Terra Raid Raid Battles as their new online group battle feature! These specialized battles allow four players to connect to defeat a strong Pokemon with a Terra Raid Power Boost. Fighting these creatures with your friends gives rewards that help train your monsters further. Join me for the session to get our hands on many raids to get Exp Candies, Treasures, and more. Once I can complete the Paldea Dex, I should be able to get the Shiny Charm. This will allow me to hunt for rare forms of Pokemon called Shiny Pokemon.
- Battle with Rental or Registered Pokemon
One of my goals is to create the ultimate team to compete in Ranked Ladder Play. I am breeding my Pokemon with the ideal moves, abilities, and natures to succeed in this competitive environment. Participating in Ranked Ladder Play allows me to face off against skilled players and test my team's strength. It also provides an opportunity to earn rewards such as rare items and in-game currency. With each win, I'll climb up the leaderboard and increase my ranking, leading to recognition within the community and a chance to participate in bigger tournaments.
