Greetings, @inkwell friends and participants.
I am joining this interesting challenge.
I will try to catch up to this day. First I will carry out the assigned tasks, then I will make the comments and I will edit my entries to include them.
Day 1 / task 1
Samantha and Leslie, the two women in the dialogue are women reaching their forties, they were born and raised in the same neighborhood, they were always good friends and attended the same schools.
Samantha is a girl who emphasizes her appearance. Because she works as a nursing assistant in a cosmetic clinic, she has the obligation to dress according to the demands of the workplace. Samantha a divorcee, from her marriage has an only daughter studying in another state of the country. With a nostalgic tendency, she has made a commitment to her friend Leslie to meet her every week for lunch. after lunch the friends spent the afternoon together.
Leslie is the proud mother of three sons. The eldest son is a slightly troubled teenager. Dedicated full time to taking care of the house and the family looks forward to the day when she will meet her friend. The only child of deceased parents, Leslie's world is reduced to housework, conversations with her husband about the children, her husband's work trips and the long-overdue expectation of starting a business to generate income of her own.
Despite having shared classrooms with Samantha and Leslie, Betty she never made close ties with them. She was a nondescript-looking girl who was always surrounded by the best of the class, studious boys and girls, among whom Betty stood out for her application to the study and her brilliant interventions when it came to social issues. As expected, she graduated from a promising university where she enrolled in Political Economy. That day he felt the gazes from the other table and she came to greet his old acquaintances.
Day 1 / task 2
Dialogue:
“He is never pleased with anything, I gave him a piece of cake and he turned it down.
"What did you do?"
"It gave me a lot of anguish and I went to cry in the room"
"Did you leave the party alone?"
"My husband noticed and followed me, he is my angel."
Why does it hurt so much?
“I never had a father. How I would like to please him! "
"He seems such a nice gentleman!"
"He is an excellent father, my husband adores him and he is a tender grandfather… but he hates me."
I did this exercise in one hour and eleven minutes.
