Oh my precious pools of Plett
A site that I’ll never forget
I leave you now with fond regret
For time’s up on my great reset
I sally forth along the way
having spent so many a day
lingering by your pools and spray
admiring your most beautiful bay
Your surface sheen reflects the light
in constant flux from dawn ‘til night
you are the very holy sight
where my dull world became so bright
Ere though I leave and say good bye
I see you now in my mind’s eye
The way may take me low or high
Yet you’ll be with me ‘til I die
For your sublime and holy space
internally I now embrace
Upon your surface I’ll retrace
Divinity seen face to face
So blessed waters from above
Pour down on me anointed love
For you are my own treasure trove
I’ve just found god in your alcove
Here’s a little poem I wrote inspired by the pool at which I took these photos recently. It’s an epic place surrounded by the wild natural elements. To commemorate my experience at the pool over the years, I have written this poem in glory of this special space in my life. I hope it gives you a glimpse into the inspiration that this place brought me.
This region on the southernmost shores of Africa is really uplifting and filled with the healthy atmosphere of the wide open free space all around me here. I’m truly blessed and have been able to tap in to the surcharging energies of nature in this particular region.
I hope that wherever you are, you can also tap in to the vitality and inspiration available in the natural surroundings of our planet. Take some time out in nature and get the benefits for body, mind and soul. You might even find your own natural organic temple or sacred space of your own.
