Humans pollute the oceans and have little respect for nature, whether it's in the sea or forests. That's why it was not surprising that a reunion was taking place in the depths of the ocean.
In a dark place where light doesn't reach, unimaginable beings gathered to discuss the latest important decisions regarding humans. These creatures produced their light, a sinister bioluminescence of reddish and greenish colors. There were three creatures whose appearance could frighten any human to death.
These figures could be described as enormous beings with tentacles, whose features were amorphous. The first one resembled a ram with a jellyfish, but only in shape, as it had no eyes but a huge mouth full of teeth. It had two enormous tentacles that it used as arms, which emitted light resembling bloodied arms. It had no legs, only countless suckers. The only solid parts of its body were the two long horns, as its body was composed of the same material as a jellyfish, giving it a ghostly appearance.
The other creatures did not have these characteristics. One resembled a mermaid but in a horrifying way. It had a mermaid's tail and a human body, but it looked more like a dissected frog than a human. Its eyes were as bulging and dark as the abyss in which they were gathered, and instead of teeth, it had three disgusting bifurcated tongues.
The last beast, which was enormous, was even more different from its companions. It was hairy and gigantic, with a shape that was difficult to describe. It had no bioluminescence on its body. Its two eyes protruded from its body like slugs and were powerful beacons of light in that dark world. It had many more eyes all over its body, but they were closed so as not to disturb the other two monsters. Additionally, its body was compacted due to the pressures of the depths, which caused it to assume a different form.
"Well, I think we all agree that the human race must be exterminated," said T'h'l'l'y'h, the one that made the tentacles burn. These monsters did not speak English or Spanish but emitted a unique language through screeches, similar to that of whales and dolphins. It was the R'lyehian language, an ancient tongue only possessed by those gods or monsters.
"Yes, it's unanimous. They have no boundaries anymore. They want to go everywhere, and wherever they go, they pollute and destroy," emphasized Y'h'h'l'l'l, the one who mesmerizes with her singing. "I am no longer satisfied waiting for them in the depths of the sea to devour them. I want to go after them with my soldiers. What do you think, A'l'l'l'l'l'l?"
A'l'l'l'l'l'l, the one who sees everything, took his time to respond, as he was the only one among them who could set foot on land.
"I agree with you. However, I am the only one who thinks that we should plan first how to do it. You have an army of vassals, but I am alone. I can see everything, and nothing escapes my sight, which is why I think about the consequences," his two eyes focused on his companions. "We can eliminate them, but they already have what it takes to eliminate us."
A'l'l'l'l'l'l fell silent, and his screeches ceased to spread through the water. The other two creatures fell into deep thought.
"I have a plan," said Y'h'h'l'l'l'l. And everyone listened attentively to her plan.
Months later, rumors began circulating in the ports that no one should venture out at night, as a beautiful voice could enchant them. And this happened in any port, dock, or beach in any country. Mostly, alcoholic men were the first to disappear with the enchanting song, followed by womanizers, and finally, young children. Regardless of how close a human's house was, they would be enchanted and begin wandering near the sea. The unusual thing was that every consecutive night, the song would spread, and the next day, thousands of men would vanish.
Eventually, terrified people complained to the government. In a matter of weeks, boats, ships, and military vessels scoured the coasts in search of the source of this strange song, but just as it appeared, it vanished. However, there were still many missing children and adults, and the searches did not cease.
It was then that mysterious deaths started occurring on the search vessels. The boats would be found by their companions, but they were puzzled by the stillness of the vessel and the lack of response. When they boarded the ships, they would find the bodies of the crew. No one knew exactly how they had died; it seemed as if their vitality had been drained, leaving them like dehydrated mummies.
From that moment on, some vessels patrolled alone, but soon they started doing it in groups. People would tell stories of luminous reflections emanating from the depths of the sea in the darkness, as well as enormous tentacles that absorbed people's life force upon touching their skin. Everything was a mystery, and it caused terror among the humans.
"The other day, one of the search boats disappeared; they wanted to act tough and vanished. They claimed they weren't afraid of the sea, but the sea is unleashing its wrath upon us," a concerned mother said. "And our children and husbands are paying for our mistakes."
She wasn't the only one saying it. Thousands of terrified women raised their voices.
That wasn't the only blow the government received. Thousands of merchant ships also vanished from the map without a trace. Although they had high-tech tracking systems, mysteriously, none of them worked. This also affected the global economy. Governments began blaming each other, thinking it was sabotage from other countries. No one believed that the sea was seeking revenge, no one believed that a massive Kraken was devouring the vessels, or that beings similar to horrifying sirens were taking over the ships.
So far, the navy's ships had not been affected, causing a domino effect in countries. Soon, a war broke out between nations. No one knew exactly how it had started, only that some vessels appeared in foreign territory, violating territorial agreements. Additionally, there were casualties in that incident, although the violators denied any homicides.
However, the war erupted, and millions of human beings succumbed to each other. All of this was observed by A'l'l'l'l'l'l, the one who sees everything. No one realized that he was present in the places where things were meant to happen, observing with his apparent form of a simple human, with multiple eyes scanning every inch of his skin.
"It is done!" was all he said as he witnessed the disaster that the human beings had caused among themselves.
