We ask that you read our Creative Nonfiction Tips post to learn about the creative nonfiction genre and review our guidelines.

- Creative nonfiction stories are based on your real-life experiences.
- We are looking for real short stories—not advice columns, reports, recipes, or political commentary.
- Ideal length: 750–1500 words. Minimum for curation: 350 words.
- Please focus on quality content. Proofread and use a grammar checker.
- Comment on at least two other stories for each one you post.
- No NSFW, graphic violence, or abuse content.

It started small. A few supermarket receipts stuffed into a purse I no longer used. Then came shawarma night slips, ATM withdrawal proofs from trips that meant something, recharge card stubs from when data still came in scratch cards. Eventually, I moved them all into one place my old Royal Dansk biscuit tin. You know the one. Big, blue, and nostalgic.
