You know when people say “living the dream,” it usually sounds like one big, soft life story, like someone traveling the world or buying their dream house. But for me, it was one random day when I was completely broke and someone just sent me $50 without me even asking, iswear, it felt like a dream I didn’t know I needed.
Let me take you back to that day.
It was almost the end of my exam period ,i was in Lagos, and I had been planning to travel down to Uyo,but omo, things were tight, When I say tight, I mean no cash anywhere, no earnings on Hive no one I could disturb, and the little food I had left was just rice and beans (my all-time survival combo) ,I wasn’t even sure how I would move from one day to the next.

Then out of the blue, he just said,

I paused. I thought maybe he wanted to test something or send maybe 5 HIVE for some support or whatever, I did not expect anything big but I sent it sha, because why not?

It is not just about the money, It is the timing , the way it came out of nowhere, The way I did not have to beg or explain my struggles, It just came,like a soft reminder that God still sends people to come through when you least expect it you get?.
That moment for me was truly living the dream
See I know it might not look like much to some people, but when you are down, and something like that happens, it just feels like the universe pressed pause on your stress just to hand you a breather, that day, I felt seen and felt cared for.
I always say it now that not all dreams have to be big,sometimes, it is the small, unexpected moments that feel like magic,Moments like that remind me that help can come even when you are not looking,and for someone like me who is used to figuring things out on my own, that one act of kindness was just everything.
So yeah....... maybe I am not on a yacht o or I am not cashing out millions (yet), but that day I got that $50, I was definitely living the dream for me.
