There was incessant unseasonal raining in many parts of Nepal typically eastern side and northern side of India. More than 100 people have already lost their lives due to the flood and landslide. Many people are reported to be missing with houses and property being damaged. Nobody was expecting such rainfall particularly at this post monsoon period. Its not something like a seasonal one. Climate change and global warming is a serious issues now.
Just some days left before rice harvesting will be started in many parts of Nepal, the floods have caused significant damage to farmers as well destroying their agricultural crops. From the data collected by the Ministry of Agriculture, the flood created a loss of 7.22 billion Nepalese rupees by destroying the rice field. This time major hydropower plants have also been badly affected due to this disaster.
