Korg just dropped the news on this FM Synthesizer today. Gotta say, it looks pretty fantastic.
I recently picked up an old Yamaha DX21 and have been easing into FM and the theory behind it. While the DX21 is obviously hella fun, it's pretty hard to actually create your own custom presets. While opsix boasts 250 presets, I'm loving the fact you can tweak sounds without a crazy amount of menu-diving.
A built in sequencer and arp is really exciting to me as well.
Will I get one? Probably not. 😅 $800 seems fair, but not the kind of money I need to be spending right now. Would definitely pick up a used unit in a few years though!
