Manually, I can upvote a post via the Hive Blog app or the PeakdD app at any percentage I want be it at 1% up to 100% and I could probably do it via other apps too.
The ability to vote at a percentage on what was Steem or Steemit and what is now the Hive Blog blockchain has been like an unlockable feature, all you need is enough Steem Power (SP) or what we now call Hive Power (HP). I now have the ability to vote at specific percentages when I'm curating content.
I've been trying out the Hive Vote app at https://hive.vote and I started adding a Fanbase which means accounts I will automatically upvote. I also started following curation trails which means I will upvote whoever they upvote.
In the settings on Hive Vote, I was trying to customize to vote at specific percentages each time automatically and I tried a few things to see if it would work but it didn't. So, then I decided to disable the curation trail to see if that was interfering with the Fanbase.
I changed the settings in the Fanbase to upvote only at 100% or I actually left it blank as it said doing so would change it to default settings which is 100%. But then it went on to vote not at 100% and my voting power was at 95% overall at that time and I am able to upvote at 100% for individual posts manually with no problem (even as the overall voting power is at 95% or even at as low as 10% or even lower overall) but have not been able to do so automatically via Hive Vote.
There are these options to have voting set at scale or fixed for the curation trail. I experimented with both options but don't think that helped. But like I said, after that, I disabled the trail. I'm currently trying to get my Fanbase to all vote at the same percentage power. So far, not sure how to do that.
