Ya han pasado varias semanas desde que se grabó el Fashion Film de mi Proyecto de Runway, pero no podía dejar de compartirles estas fotos del outfit fabuloso que lucí ese día, junto a las fotos grupales que nos hicimos. Como les mencioné en un post anterior, hacer el proyecto fue muy retador en muchos sentidos, sin embargo, el proceso creativo lo disfruté mucho, sobretodo esa parte de escoger los outfits junto a Pau (@petitepaulette) quien fue una de las Fashion Stylists que escogimos, y que incluso, fue fuente de inspiración para nuestra temática y nos ayudó en el proceso de producción.
Lo lindo y más significativo de nuestro trabajo es el propósito que hay detrás. Fredoom busca inspirar a los venezolanos y sobre todo, al público más joven sobre los distintos estilos de vestir y formas de como se pueden elevar outfits básicos cotidianos, fomentando la creatividad y con el fin último de que las personas creen su estilo propio y se atrevan a lucirlo sin importar estigmas o prejuicios. Y les digo que Pau fue inspiración directa, ya que si ven su fabuloso perfil de instagram, pueden apreciar su personalidad y seguridad al lucir diferente y súper creativa, sin importar una ocasión en específico (otro punto importante a recalcar en nuestro proyecto).
El día de grabación vivimos todos los escenarios que se pueden presentar, personas que nos miraban con admiración, otras con cara de "a éstas que les pasa?", incluso llegué a escuchar un comentario referente a mi de que "parecía una bolsa de basura" o sea, imagínense jajaj. Pero lo importante de todo es que nosotros nos sentimos MUY PERO MUY SEGUROS, más bien nos hizo feliz experimentar todo eso, ya que efectivamente es una realidad, acá en Venezuela no hay casi cultura de moda. De hecho, tomamos de base también ciudades como París, New York y Tokio, ya que en sus calles se puede notar la confianza de las personas al vestir bajo sus propios gustos sin ningún tipo de limitante. Y bueno, de llevarse a cabo el evento, porque Freedom es eso también, una propuesta, buscamos aportar nuestro granito de arena para transformar también esas creencias, que paso a paso, traerán solo vibras de mucho autoconfianza y empoderamiento a nuestras calles, jaja💗.

It's been a few weeks since the Fashion Film of my Runway Project was shot, but I couldn't stop sharing with you these photos of the fabulous outfit I wore that day, along with the group photos we took. As I mentioned in a previous post, doing the project was very challenging in many ways, however, I really enjoyed the creative process, especially that part of choosing the outfits with Pau (@petitepaulette) who was one of the Fashion Stylists we chose, and who was also a source of inspiration for our theme and helped us in the production process.
The beautiful and most significant thing about our work is the purpose behind it. Freedoom seeks to inspire Venezuelans and above all, the younger audience about the different styles of dress and ways to elevate basic everyday outfits, encouraging creativity and with the ultimate goal that people create their own style and dare to wear it regardless of stigmas or prejudices. And I tell you that Pau was a direct inspiration, because if you see her fabulous instagram profile, you can appreciate her personality and confidence to look different and super creative, regardless of a specific occasion (another important point to emphasize in our project).
The day of recording we lived all the scenarios that can be presented, people who looked at us with admiration, others with a face of "what's wrong with these? But the important thing is that we felt VERY BUT VERY SAFE, rather we were happy to experience all that, since it is indeed a reality, here in Venezuela there is almost no fashion culture. In fact, we also took as a base cities like Paris, New York and Tokyo, since in their streets you can notice the confidence of people to dress according to their own tastes without any kind of limitation. And well, if the event takes place, because Freedom is that too, a proposal, we seek to contribute our bit to transform those beliefs as well, that step by step, will bring only vibes of much self-confidence and empowerment to our streets, haha💗.
