Keep on pushing

Today is second day of my wife riding her Pint and she has been doing awesome. She is getting a lot more confident with her balance and even went a bit faster today.

Yesterday we spent the whole time in a parking lot so she could practice, but today she wanted to go out on a real ride. We have a really nice walking trail behind our house that has a small creek running next to it, so we started off there.

After the trail, we moved along to a nearby park that has a walking trail that runs around the whole thing. We road around it a couple times while she was getting used to the bumps and turns.
There was a small bridge on the trail, and Faith was scared to go across it, but I told her there was nothing to be scared of. Well, she fell the first time and then started laughing after she fell. I told her that she already fell and it wasn't bad and that she needed to try it again.

The second time she went across, she made it without falling. She is getting a lot better at riding and more and more confident in her abilities.

We went about 4 miles today and she only fell twice. The other time she fell it was because she went in the grass on accident and was going to slow to ride out of it. Pretty soon she will be ready for the offroad trails and be shredding through the dirt.
I am glad that she is having a lot of fun with her Pint so far and I can't wait until she is comfortable enough to start going faster. At least while I am waiting for her to catch up, I have time to practice my tricks. I started riding fakie today and that is a bit weird, but I can do a pretty fast 180 now by riding fakie and doing a quick turn out of it.
Well thanks for stopping by and checking out my adventures on my OneWheel. These things are a blast.
