Historic Reopening: Our Home is Back!
Itapetininga Skate Park has just been reopened with a brand-new look, after years of neglect by public authorities. This space, once a symbol of resistance and social transformation, is now again a gathering point for urban culture and the new generations of skateboarders.
The Renovation as a Collective Act
The revitalization of the park was only possible thanks to the joint effort of the local community, volunteers, partner brands, and skateboarding friends. Every donation, every helping hand, every hour of work made a difference. It was a true collective mission, driven by the passion for skateboarding and the dream of bringing this space back to life.

Gnars DAO and the NOGGLES RAIL: Web3 Making History
Gnars DAO’s proposal #89 played a key role in this process. It enabled the construction of the Noggles Rail — a custom rail designed with Gnars identity — which not only brings a new obstacle for skaters but also stands as a symbol of how Web3 can transform physical spaces and social realities. It’s digital culture directly connecting with the real world in a powerful and positive way.

The Power of Unity: Community, Private Sector, and Public Institutions
Even with the lack of support from public institutions, we proved that when communities, private companies, and new technologies come together, great things happen. This renovation shows that skateboarding is much more than a sport — it’s a tool for transformation, inclusion, and collective building.

Gratitude That Strengthens
Our deepest thanks go to everyone who donated, helped with the construction, shared the cause, or simply believed in it. To Gnars DAO and the Skate Hive community, our respect and admiration for recognizing the real-world impact skateboarding can create. We keep pushing forward, transforming lives with wheels on our feet and awareness in our hearts.
The Future is Now: Urban Culture + Web3
This new chapter of the Itapetininga Skate Park proves that the future of skateboarding is directly linked to urban culture, technology, and decentralization. The partnership between social projects, Web3 initiatives like Gnars, and local movements is the way forward to building real, lasting solutions. And this is just the beginning.
