What's up #Hive fam?
We haven't shared an update for 20 days now but we are relentlessly working on the background to make SkateHive Skateboarding Community and #Hive thrive.
Let share some goals we achieved since Hive's launch just in case this is the first time you read/hear about us :
Rebranding Steemskate to Skatehive and flawless transition of our community to Hive after the Steem/Hive split ✔️
Supporting every skate post on Hive with an upvote of 53000 Hive Power thanks to our awesome Delegators✔️
Onboarding new skaters and encouraging engagement with our Comments for Upvotes initiative ($0.05 upvote at every thoughtful comment on every SkateHive Skateboarding Community post) ✔️
Organized a Donation Campaign and collected $660 for a fellow skater's spinal cord surgury ✔️
Strategic partnership with the LBRY skate community so we can raise awareness about Hive, grow our userbase and help our community members earn more crypto for their skate content ✔️

What we are up to
As we mentioned above, we are rentelessly working on the background to make SkateHive Skateboarding Community and #Hive thrive.
Our primary goal is to onboard users, educate them about Hive and create a HUGE community of boarders so we can add value to our ecosystem. This is not an easy task with our limited resources but thanks to our reach (sponsored riders and awesome community members), we are doing more than great.
The next step is to launch a @Skatehive clothing series so we can raise awareness about us with a more "delicate" way and guess what? Our logos are ready and our clothing series will hopefully be available for everyone to buy 'till the end of August 2020.

Wearing a Skatehive t-shirt or hoodie will definitely raise questions about the brand and we will be able to raise funds for our HUGE upcoming @skatehive contest.
Skatehive x LBRY Game of S.K.A.T.E Contest
Some of you might remember the Game of S.K.A.T.E contest we organized a year ago. The contest went on for more than 4 months and more than $150 were shared between everyone who participated. It was so much fun and it was also a huge motivation to go out, skate, record and share content

One of the previous Game of S.K.A.T.E Contest requirement was to shareyour trick on Steem Hive.
This rule is changing
This time, the contest will run exclusively on Instagram, the platform most skaters on the planet use to share their content, so we can reach a much bigger audience, have many more participants and let skaters start asking questions about us. Who wouldn't be curious about the contest's sponsors?
We will ask skaters to share every week's entry in our Discord channel so we can have a more personal relationship with every participant. Curiosity is in our human nature and since participants can directly talk to us, it's gonna be much easier to educate them about Hive/Skatehive, how they can monetize their content and how they can start earning for sharing it with us.
