What's up everyone?

8 days ago we announced that @steemskate will be actively resteeming and curating skateboarding content on HIVE Blockchain. We were eager to try and work on both STEEM and HIVE but since Steemit is censoring posts related to HIVE Blockchain we do not think this is possible. Sooner or later, the official @Steemskate account will be censored for promoting a different platform so there is no point in trying to stay active there.

@Steemskate goes 100% HIVE

Skateboarding is freedom and we really want to operate in a censorship-free and decentralized platform so the @steemskate community will be moving to HIVE.

The @steemskate account on Steem Blockchain has started a Power Down and all our Steem will be used to buy HIVE so we can support every skater worldwide with a bigger upvote. We will be curating posts on Steem until the power down proccess is completed but we will not be posting any updates regarding our skateboarding community there.

New Community Name and Logo

Since we are a community driven project we would love to work together to figure out a new name and a new logo.

These are just some names we came up within an 1 hour chat. Does any of these names click you? Is it easy to pronounce and to remember? Can we create an awesome logo using one of these names?

Delegate and earn SKATE TOKENS

Delegators will be receiving a fixed ammount of SKATE TOKENS monthly depending on the amount of HP they delegated. For every SP you delegate, you will be receiving x5 SKATE TOKENS. That means that if you delegate 10 SP you will be getting back 50 SKATE TOKENS every month.

The Hive Power Delegated to us will be used to vote exclusively skateboarding content and give all skaters the appropriate support. Whether we like it or not, a big upvote is a huge motivation.
