I caught eye of a spot that @alexandrefeliz showed me one time driving home. it was a plaza type spot with DIY elements. Thinking back now, @xvlad showed me this spot one of the first days when we were in a taxi, he said its super dangerous at night. @juarezsb said the same thing, that we were going to get mugged here if we kept skating after the sun went down.

After skating for about 5 whole minutes my tee shirt was soaked in sweat.
We didn't get mugged, but this plaza did have some not so co-operative homeless people who did not want to let me skate the benches. they thought the benches were for them to sit on. the benches were DIY pours by someone who skates. They can sit on them if they want, i dont care.

I skated here from my apartment to meet juarez who had me thinking he was going to beat me to the spot by how stoked he was to get out and film. I wasnt sure if vlad was going to show up but he eventually did after i broke my board.

I broke my board doing some flatground trick. the more fatigued i get, the more likely i will snap my board on a flip trick. I usually stop skating before this happens but im kind of on a skate tour of sorts so im working hard trying to keep skating.
I'm still sitting on 2 full edits from some really cool spots so this edit is probably almost 3 weeks old by now.
The type of concrete they used in these benches is kinda shitty and they don't slide or grind very well. they are also not long enough to really get into a grind on. that is my critique of these benches haha. every time i grinded the bench i had to re wax it and it felt like friction on them was 2x even though they had been lacquered.
Smooth ground though, and a great spot to warm up or to just make some clips like we did here:
