Greetings!
Welcome to the weekly edition of my "Daily Grind" series of blogs. Going up against Automabunn and Divine Coronet always makes me think that I'm always going to lose. But then I was still taking it as a challenge because I knew that I would learn experiences about the match. Experiences that I can use to at least steal a win against them in future matches.
In this daily grind, I wasn't able to get a good winning record since mulligan and card draw made my starting game on the back foot, which contributed a lot to my losses. Also, in this daily grind, I tend to try finishing the game as fast as possible, but it backfired. It is a good thing that I still won three games until I decided to call it a day.
Crucial Strategies
I am not going all-out on the board, but I do try to retain a creature or two on the board just to deal face damage when it is my turn.

Against any magic deck, I am always looking for my 1-2 mana card to play in the early rounds.

My opponent played Bronze Gate. I played Blade of Styx to kill Bronze Gate (with the help of Tavern Brawler).
3 Mana
My opponent played another Bronze Gate. I attacked Bronze Gate with Blade of Styx and Tavern Brawler to kill it. I played Valka's Captain.

My opponent played Entrapment Apparatus. I attacked the Entrapment Apparatus with all my creatures to kill it. I played Skollkin Valkerie. I went face.
5 Mana
My opponent played Divine Coronet. I played Chieftain's Fury, I went face.

My opponent played All-Seeing Spire and Aggravated Architect. I killed Aggravated Architect with all of my creatures. I played White Fur Guard.

My opponent played another All-Seeing Spire. I went face. I played Blade of Styx and I went face. I took Valka's Discovery from the Sanctum.

My opponent played Twisted Gate. I killed Twisted Gate with two of my creatures and Blade of Styx. I buffed White Fur Guard with Sole Survivor, I went face, and it was GG.
