Hi everyone,

this is the second part of my thoughts of the upcoming patch. Here I will write about the cards that got changed.

Changes:

• Safeguard Incantation
  Text Changed. Change text from ”Draw a card. Give ward to each creature in your hand.” to ”Draw a card. Give ward and protected to your god. ”

I have to say, I liked the old one more. It was pretty nice if you have got some big drops and they get ward, then they got really hard to deal with.

• Enchanted Chariot
  Card Reworked. Change mana cost from 1 to 4. Change stats from 2/1 to 3/3. Change text from “Roar: Deal 1 damage to an enemy creature.” to ”Roar: Draw a structure from your deck.”

This card will get huge changes, but it looks like it will get really bad. 3/3 for 4 mana and draw a structure.
There i would prefer "Soothsayer" much more, it has 1 attack less much a much better roar.

• Twisting Talisman
  Mana Increased. Text Changed. Change mana from 1 to 2. Change stats from 1/3 to 0/2. Change text from “Flank. After you attack a creature with this relic, if the creature survives, swap the creature's strength and health.” to ”Ability: Swap a creature’s strength and health. Give -1 durability to this relic.”

So this relic will be 2mana 0/2, "swap the health and attack of a creature for -1durability".
This sounds interesting and can be really good against "Pyramid Warden" or 0attack tanks. Also you can change the health and attack of your own creatures. I will watch this card.

• Blazing Talisman
  Text Changed. Change mana from 3 to 2. Change stats from 1/3 to 0/1. Change text from “Ability: Give all enemy creatures burn +1 and give -1 durability to this relic.” to ”After an enemy creature attacks your god, give it burn +1. When a creature with burn dies, give your creatures +1 regen.”

This card will be 2mana 0/1. The old version was not really used, this one could be maybe used. It can be good against aggro decks.

• Lightning Talisman
  Text Changed. Change stats from 1/3 to 0/3.
  Change text from “After your god attacks a creature with this relic, give that creature "At the end of your turn, deal 2 damage to a random friendly character." to ”After your god is damaged, deal 2 damage to the strongest enemy creature then 1 damage to the weakest enemy creature, and give -1 durability to this relic.”

The old version also was like never played. The new version looks really anti aggro and pretty good. 2 damage to the strongest and 1 damage to the weakest enemy creature is really good in my opinion. Can imagine to see it in the future.

• Enraging Talisman
  Text Changed. Change stats from 1/4 to 0/2. Change mana from 4 to 2.
  Change text from “After you attack an enemy creature with this relic, if it survives, give the creature "At the start of your turn, give each enemy creature +1 strength." to ”Ability: Give each creature +1 strength and deal 1 damage to them. Give -1 durability to this relic.”

It will get changed to 2mana and 0/2. Lose 1 durability to deal 1 damage and give 1 attack to your creatures. Sounds not that good for me. It is like the heropower just for every of your creatures. Maybe as a 0/3 relic this would be used. I think we wont see this card often.

• Glaring Talisman
  Mana Reduced. Text Changed. Change mana from 4 to 2. Change stats from 3/3 to 0/3.
  Change text from “After your god attacks a creature with this relic, give order +3 to that creature.” to ”After an enemy creature attacks your god, give order +3 to that creature, then give -1 durability to this relic.”

I like the new version much more, also a 2mana card with 0/3. This card could get usefull. The only problem I see with this card is, that as a light player you want to have boardcontrol so the enemy useally doesnt attack your god.

• Plague Talisman
  Text Changed. Change mana from 4 to 2. Change stats from 1/2 to 0/3.
  Change text from “After you damage a creature with this relic, if the creature survives, transform it into a 1/1 Zombie.” to New Ability: Umbral Plague. Ability: give a creature “at the end of your turn, deal 2 damage to both gods.”, then give -1 durability to this relic.

This cards new effekt sounds really funny. Dont know if this card will be used or not. But I can imagine that it could make a new metadeck if it is usefull. This card can also speed up games really much. Really looking forward and hopeing some new metadeck with this card because low mana decks are useally cheaper and it would be nice for the newer players without the genesis cards (hust demogorgon).

• Rolling Thunder
  Change text from: “Summon two 3/3 Thunder Callers. If you are frenzied, summon three instead.” to ”Summon two 3/3 Thunder Callers. If you are frenzied, draw the strongest viking in your deck and reduce its cost by 1.”

This card got allready from one of the best cards to never see it anymore, what will happen to it now? I think it will still not be played, for me it still looks bad. It is just too expensive.

• Righteous Apparition
  Text changed. Change text from “Backline. Ability: Give order +3 to an enemy creature.” to “Backline. Ability: Give order +2 to an enemy creature.”

For me this is a straight nerf. +3 order was important because you can raise it every round. Now it will stay the same level every turn. Didnt see this card often and think it will stay like this.

• Ghostform
  Text changed. Change text from “Pick one - Give order +10 to a creature in your hand. - Draw a card.“ to “Give order +2 to a creature and draw a card.”

For me this card got buffed, I like the change but I dont know if it was enough that the card will be playable.

• Ring of the Siren
  Text changed. Stats Reduced. Change text from “Give a creature order +1 and give -1 durability to this relic.” to “Give a creature order +2 and give -1 durability to this relic.” Change stats from 0/4 to 0/3

This card was never seen and I think it will stay like this. 3mana is too much for a weapon like this.

#Conclusion
There are many weapon changes and I am looking forward to see meta changes. I am also looking forward to see if I was right with my estimates.
