The Weekend
My worst weekend in Mythic so far! 13 out of 25. I decided to try and switch my weekend deck from Deception to WAR for this weekend. Unfortunately, I kicked takes off with a consecutive 5 losses 😂. It is at that moment that I decided to go back to my old faithful Deception deck. Considering how things went, I may have ended on an average 16-18 wins but I was too stubborn to switch back lol. I didn’t feel any significant meta changes this weekend. Board Wipe Death (BWD) is still one of the most annoying decks to face off against. Luckily, I didn’t encounter many Death decks. I did see an increase in Aggro and control WAR decks. Overall the Christmas weekend wasn’t that great for me by missing out on a DO pack as a reward.
Additionally, GU Decks was also acting up. Data was not representative to the real stats. When I could finally pull up my profile, it showed that I got a rare and legendary DO pack (17 wins), which of course wasn’t so. If only. The MMR stats are also scrambled all over the place. Hopefully it’s fixed by next weekend so we can keep track of things more easily
My [WAR] Deck
So here’s the WAR deck I had the losing streak with during the weekend. I tested it out during the week before and it performed quite well, it even had a better win rate than my Deception deck. I may have just gotten bad luck during the weekend as I started second in most of the matches as well. I’ll make some minor tweaks to the deck and give it a shot again next weekend to slowly increase my variety in Gods.
