I'll be straightforward here playing with Choosen One as God Power in #GodsUnchained is like trying to tame a dog with a piece of meat in your hand. It seems like an amazing idea until you realize the dog (in this case, the opponent’s deck) has sharper teeth than you expected.
First of all, I’m not a professional in Gods Unchained or someone who strictly uses META compositions. I think that takes away some of the fun in exploring your own strategies and trying to make the most out of them. You can find better options for this composition like this one:

Gameplay

First, let’s talk about the basics of Choosen One. It works like this:
A creature is randomly selected as THE CHOSEN ONE and can then continue upgrading its attributes. THE CHOSEN ONE can be any creature in your hand. This means you need a bit of luck to get the most out of this ability. If you’ve ever played, you know how frustrating it is to draw a weak creature, and it ends up becoming your most useful card in the match.
In this case, my chosen creature was VEXING VICAR. I think that was really unlucky since it starts with (1/1) stats.
One of the cards I often use to improve this strategy is the ILLUMINATED WARRIOR (2/1). This small warrior is practically THE CHOSEN ONE’s trusty sidekick, and its biggest advantage is its low mana cost, because it adds +1/+1 to it.
But that’s where things get tricky outside of theory. For this strategy to really work, you need to find THE CHOSEN ONE quickly in your deck. Otherwise, you’re just staring at your hand and hoping it shows up before the opponent starts destroying everything. If the opponent is using a magic deck (and I’ll get to that in a moment), the situation gets even more desperate.
Now, speaking of magic decks.
Man, these decks are the nightmare of anyone relying on creatures on the field. In the game that made me reconsider this strategy, I was excited to test Choosen One when I ran into a magic deck that seemed to have infinite spells. You know those matches where you place a creature on the board, and it’s eliminated in the same turn?
It was exactly like that.
The opponent simply wiped out everything I put into play.
I tried to balance things by placing higher attribute creatures, like the legendary Asterius Glittering One, but nothing could hold back the spell storm. When you have a plan based on buffing a single target, an enemy with spells to directly eliminate any creature you play completely ruins your strategy.
This reminds me of the difficulty against the Nature Deck, with quick removal.
The worst part is when the opponent not only eliminates your CHOSEN ONE but also starts placing Frontline creatures to block your attacks. That’s exactly what happened to me. The magic deck not only wiped my board but also created barriers that prevented me from attacking his God directly. This basically forced me to spend entire turns trying to break through defenses while he prepared for the final blow.
I’m going to keep testing and adjusting my deck because, despite getting beaten badly by the magic deck, I see potential in this strategy. I just need to find the right cards to speed up the early game and protect my CHOSEN ONE as much as possible. Meanwhile, I’ll keep playing around with combinations and seeing what works best. Maybe I’ll go back to basics and rely solely on the healing GOD POWER again.

Vou ser bem direto aqui, brincar com Choosen One como God Power no #GodsUnchained Ă© como tentar domar um cachorro com um pedaço de carne na mĂŁo. Parece uma ideia incrĂvel atĂ© vocĂŞ perceber que o cachorro (no caso, o deck adversário) tem dentes mais afiados do que vocĂŞ imaginava.
Antes de tudo, eu não sou nenhum profissional em Gods Unchained ou a utilizar composições METAS. Eu acho que isso tira um pouco a graça do jogo de explorar suas próprias estratégias e tentar tirar um bom proveito disso, você pode encontrar melhores opções para essa composição como essa:

Primeiro, vamos falar sobre o básico do Choosen One. Ele funciona assim:
Uma criatura é selecionada aleatoriamente como O ESCOLHIDO e depois pode continuar aprimorando os atributos dessa criatura. O ESCOLHIDO pode ser qualquer criatura da sua mão. Isso significa que você precisa ter um pouco de sorte para tirar o máximo dessa habilidade. Se você já jogou alguma vez, sabe como é frustrante puxar uma criatura fraquinha e ela acabar virando a sua criatura de maior utilidade na partida.
Nesse caso, eu obtive como escolhido a criatura VEXING VICAR. Acho que foi muito azar, ele começa com atributos (1/1).
Uma das cartas que eu costumo usar para melhorar essa estratégia é o ILLUMINATED WARRIOR (2/1). Esse pequeno guerreiro é praticamente o fiel escudeiro do ESCOLHIDO e sua maior vantagem pelo custo baixo de mana, porque adiciona +1/+1 para ele.
Mas é aà que as coisas ficam complicadas fora do papel, para essa estratégia funcionar de verdade, você precisa encontrar O ESCOLHIDO bem rápido no seu deck. Caso contrário, você fica apenas olhando para a mão e rezando para que ele apareça antes que o adversário comece a destruir tudo. Se o oponente estiver usando um deck de magia (e eu já vou falar disso), a situação fica ainda mais desesperadora.
Agora, falando em decks de magia.
Cara, esses decks são o pesadelo de quem depende de criaturas no campo. No jogo que me fez repensar essa estratégia, eu estava empolgado testando Choosen One quando me deparei com um deck de magia que parecia ter feitiços infinitos. Sabe aquele tipo de partida em que você coloca uma criatura na mesa e no mesmo turno é eliminado.
Foi exatamente assim.
O adversário simplesmente limpava tudo que eu colocava em jogo.
Eu tentava equilibrar colocando criaturas com atributos mais altos, como o lendário Asterius Glittering One, mas nada segurava a chuva de feitiços. Quando você tem um plano baseado em buffar um único alvo, um inimigo com magias para eliminar diretamente qualquer criatura que você jogue acaba com toda a sua estratégia.
Isso me lembra a dificuldade contra o Deck Nature, de limpeza rápida.
A pior parte é quando o inimigo não apenas elimina seu ESCOLHIDO, mas ainda começa a colocar criaturas Frontline para segurar sua investida. Foi exatamente o que aconteceu comigo. O deck de magia não só limpava minha mesa, como também criava barreiras que me impediam de atacar diretamente o Deus dele. Isso basicamente me forçou a gastar turnos inteiros tentando quebrar as defesas enquanto ele se preparava para o golpe final.
Vou continuar testando e ajustando meu deck, porque apesar de ter apanhado feio para o deck de magia, eu vejo potencial nessa estratĂ©gia. SĂł preciso encontrar as cartas certas para acelerar o inĂcio do jogo e proteger meu ESCOLHIDO o máximo possĂvel. Enquanto isso, vou seguir brincando com combinações e vendo o que funciona melhor. Talvez eu volte para o básico e aposte apenas no GOD POWER de cura novamente.
