Greetings.
The idea for any match in the game was that the more powerful the cards, the higher the chance of victory. Of course, that approach didn’t last long. I soon realized that to truly compete, it wasn’t enough to just have "good cards." I needed a solid strategy to build my deck, something beyond just picking strong cards.
That’s when I started to understand the different deck archetypes and how they can make all the difference on the battlefield.
And why not try with a War Deck? Perhaps considered the best to study because of its ease of use.
One of the first types of decks I learned to build was the famous Aggro.
The idea here is simple: speed is everything. You want to fill the board with fast creatures, dealing as much damage to the opponent as possible, quickly of course. It doesn't matter if your cards don’t survive long; the goal is that the opponent doesn’t have time to react. In an Aggro deck, you want to deal so much damage that the opponent can't even build their defense. Usually, the only thing that can stop an Aggro deck is another Aggro deck—faster than yours. It’s a race of who can draw low-cost cards in less time.
Although this post isn't focused solely on Aggro, I’d like to share other well-known types.
Then we have Control and Midrange.
A control deck works with patience. You're not concerned about immediate damage but rather surviving and eventually dominating the field.
A concept that took me some time to grasp was Midrange. This type of deck works with precision, ensuring you always have something to play every turn, maximizing your mana usage. With a tempo deck, the key is to play on curve: with 3 mana, you play a 3-mana card, and so on.
Well, I’m not an expert in Gods Unchained, so I couldn't share high-level strategies, of course. But thanks to the GuDecks website, you can find a vast combination of play styles for all Gods. In this case, I'll use the War Deck option as mentioned earlier.
See the many variations you can find; I was particularly interested in the composition called TRIAL, created by IMMUTABLE-X, which maintains a win rate of 68.4%, with 13 wins and 6 losses. However, after analyzing its price, perhaps choosing the other version called WAR CHEAP-TAIN also seems like a good choice.
I already own some of the cards in this list, like Over-proof Brew and others.
I even thought about testing this in practice and sharing it here, but I’m writing this post on a Sunday, and we know that ranked battles during the Weekend seem quite complex and challenging. It might not be the best time to test something new. So, I’ll leave it for the next post about its practical use.

Logo percebi que, para competir de verdade, não bastava ter "boas cartas". Eu precisava de uma estratégia sólida para montar meu baralho, algo que fosse além de apenas escolher cartas fortes.
Foi aí que comecei a entender os diferentes arquétipos de baralho e como eles podem fazer toda a diferença no campo de batalha.
E porque não testar com o Deck War? Talvez considerado o melhor para se estudar pela sua facilidade de uso.
Um dos primeiros tipos de baralho que aprendi a montar foi o famoso Aggro.
A ideia aqui é simples, velocidade de ação é tudo. Você quer encher tabuleiro com criaturas rápidas, causando o máximo de dano ao oponente o mais rápido possível isso é claro. Não importa se as suas cartas não sobrevivem muito tempo, o objetivo é que o inimigo não tenha tempo de reagir. Em um deck Aggro, você quer causar tanto dano que o oponente não consiga sequer montar sua defesa. E, geralmente, a única coisa que pode parar um deck Aggro é outro semelhante deck Aggro, mais rápido ainda, é um combate de quem consegue obter cartas de custo baixo em menos tempo.
Embora a postagem não seja para esse foco, apenas falar sobre o Aggro, eu gostaria de compartilhar os outros tipos conhecidos.
E então temos Controle e Midrange.
Um baralho de controle funciona na base da paciência. Você não está preocupado em causar dano imediato, mas sim em sobreviver e, eventualmente, dominar o campo.
Um conceito que demorou um pouco para eu pegar foi o Midrange. Esse tipo de baralho funciona com precisão, garantindo que você sempre tenha algo para jogar em cada turno, maximizando o uso da sua mana. Com um deck de tempo, a chave é jogar na curva com 3 manas, joga-se uma carta de 3 manas, e assim por diante.
Bom, eu não sou um expert em Gods Unchained, então eu não poderia compartilhar uma estratégia de nível alto ou semelhante a isso é claro. Mas graças ao site GuDecks, você pode encontrar uma vasta combinações de estilos de jogo para todos os Deuses. Nesse caso usarei como opção o Deck War como já mencionado.
Veja o tanto de variações que você pode encontrar, eu em questão me interessei pela composição chamada TRIAL, criada por IMMUTABLE-X, ela mantém um winrate de 68.4% com o acumulo de 13 Vitórias contra 6 Derrotas. Entretanto parando para analisar seu preço, talvez escolher a outra versão chamada WAR CHEAP-TAIN parece ter também um bom aproveitamento.
