Today was pack-opening day in Gods Unchained.
There's always that excitement of pulling an absurd card that completely changes the game, but also the fear of only getting common cards that I'll never use. It's part of the experience, right? Plus, these packs had been sitting forgotten in my inventory, so anything would be interesting.
This time, I gathered nine packs, seven rare and two epic, all earned through Weekend Ranked and leveling up. To keep it short, I decided to share only five openings, focusing on what was really worth it.
In total, I got 30 cards:
- 5 epic
- 3 rare
- 17 common
And the domain distribution was as follows:
- Deception: 7 cards
- Death: 6 cards
- Light: 3 cards
- Nature: 3 cards
- War: 2 cards
- The rest are neutral
Looking at it, Deception and Death clearly dominated the haul.
Which isn’t bad at all, because they’re two styles I really enjoy playing. If you follow my posts in the #GodsOnChain community, you probably already know that. But what truly matters isn’t just the rarity or domain, but the impact these cards will have on my decks. And thankfully, some of them will make a difference.
The epic cards were definitely the highlight, I think.
Whenever I see that purple border, I get excited. Some were specific to domains I don’t use much, like War and Light, but one, in particular, was a perfect fit for my Death deck. The only thing that could have been better was pulling a legendary but I can’t complain.
That card was DUST TO DUST.
It’s a spell card that destroys all creatures with a mana cost between 2 and 3. Practically any early game focused on board control includes creatures in that range. You just have to be careful not to harm yourself with it.
Among the rares, there was one that fits perfectly into a control deck I’m testing.
CUTTHROAT INSIGHT.
A great Draw card that also shuffles a card from your opponent’s hand back into their deck.
This card has saved me multiple times against FOOD CHAIN, disrupting the key cards in that deck composition.
It made me realize how each pack can bring that missing piece to make a strategy work. Often, it’s not about pulling the most expensive or flashy card but about getting the one that complements your playstyle.
As for the commons, they were a mix of useful and forgettable. Some have potential, depending on their synergy with other cards, but most will probably just sit in my collection unused.
Overall, it was a solid pack opening.
It wasn’t spectacular, but I didn’t walk away empty-handed either. And that’s the charm of Gods Unchained: the unpredictability. Every pack could be the one that brings that game-changing card. And if it’s not today, there’s always the next one.

Hoje foi dia de abrir pacotes em Gods Unchained.
Sempre bate aquela expectativa de tirar uma carta absurda que muda completamente o jogo, mas também tem aquele medo de vir só carta comum que eu nunca vou usar. Faz parte da experiência, né? Fora que, esses pacotes até estavam esquecidos no meu inventario. Então qualquer coisa vai ser interessante.
Dessa vez, juntei nove pacotes, sendo sete raros e dois épicos, tudo conquistado no Weekend Ranked e subindo de nível. Para não me alongar muito, resolvi compartilhar apenas cinco aberturas, focando no que realmente valeu a pena.
No total, saíram 30 cartas:
- 5 épicas
- 3 raras
- 17 comuns
E a distribuição por domínio ficou assim:
- Deception: 7 cartas
- Death: 6 cartas
- Light: 3 cartas
- Nature: 3 cartas
- War: 2 cartas
- O resto neutro
Olhando assim, já dá para ver que Deception e Death dominaram a jogada.
O que não é nada ruim, porque são dois estilos que curto bastante, se você acompanha minhas postagens na comunidade #GodsOnChain vai saber sobre isso. Mas o que realmente importa não é só a raridade ou o domínio, e sim o impacto que essas cartas vão ter nos meus decks. E, felizmente, algumas dessas vieram para somar.
As cartas épicas foram o grande destaque eu acho.
Sempre que vejo aquela borda roxa, já fico na expectativa. Algumas eram específicas de domínios que eu não uso tanto como War e Light, mas uma delas, em especial, veio para reforçar meu deck de Death. Melhor que isso, só se tivesse saído uma lendária, mas não dá para reclamar.
No caso DUST TO DUST.
É uma carta feitiço, que irá destruir todas as criaturas com o custo de mana de 2 a 3. Praticamente qualquer inicio com o foco de controle de mesa vai conter essas criaturas. Só precisamos tomar cuidado para não se auto prejudicar nisso.
Entre as raras, teve uma que encaixa perfeitamente em um deck de controle que estou testando.

Ótima carta de Draw e embaralhar uma carta da mão do seu adversário.
Já me salvou muitas vezes contra FOOD CHAIN, embaralhando as cartas principais dessa composição.
Isso me fez pensar como cada pacote pode trazer aquela peça que faltava para uma estratégia dar certo. Muitas vezes, não é sobre pegar a carta mais cara ou mais chamativa, e sim aquela que complementa seu estilo de jogo.
As comuns, como sempre, foram um misto de úteis e esquecíveis. Algumas até têm potencial, dependendo da sinergia com outras cartas, mas a maioria provavelmente vai ficar encostada.
No geral, foi uma boa leva de pacotes.
Não foi uma abertura espetacular, mas também não saí de mãos vazias. E essa é a graça de Gods Unchained: a imprevisibilidade. Cada abertura pode ser a que traz aquela carta que muda tudo. E se não for hoje, sempre tem a próxima.
