How was your first Weekend after "Mortal Judgement" release?
I finished my Weekend with 17/25 and played with a Sleep Deception deck.
I had a lot fun but I also had a few issues with the new "Anubian Death"-Type and also with "Aggro Light" but I'll tell you later a bit more.
This is the deck I played:
Sleep Deception was trending in the last 2 weeks but I thought I would always have trouble against all the Aggro Decks but most of the games it was not that big issue to survive.
These are your wanted removals for the early game. Sleep Dart can also be used when drawn late and 1 of your Demogorgon is already on board. Golden Curse is very helpful against Creatures with "Hidden" oder "Ward".
"Deuteria" is one of a very few early game creatures with "Dark Precation" and "Pyramid Warden". With "A Toast To Peace" you can get Deuteria back to your hand and use its "Roar" again. "Screams in the Night" can give you "Deuteria" to your hand. Or after you already played "Deuteria" you can get "Tetria" with "Screams in the Night" and play the next card in the same turn. "Tetria" + "Heptaria" or "Heptaria" + "Octavia" can also be possible in the same turn. (5 Mana for a 5/5 and 7/7 is not that bad 😇)
With "A Toast To Peace", "Elixir of the Panther" and "Spellbound" you can win time to survive the early game. Also your opponent will fill his board so you can kill everything with "Rapture Dance".
"Orfos's Guile" was very important at late game with only a few card left in your deck.
Thalia was the one who gave you the possibility to steal the Finisher from your opponent. Once she gave me "Polyhymnia". Against Aggro Light I was able to get a buffed 5/14 "Empyrean Pacifist". You can also use "Sleep Dart" to take control of the creature but a burning creature will not survive that long (...or it's Polyhymnia)
These are your weapons to win the game. Demo will refresh your life points after losing them early. With "Witherfingers" and "Elixir of the Panther" your one or two Demogorgon will continue dealing damage and leeching. Also the tiny cards "Spellbound", "Dark Precarion" and "Sleep Dart" will trigger the effect of Demogorgon.
"A Toast To Peace" can give you "Demogorgon" or "Witherfingers" back to your hand (like Deuteria!) and you can use their "Roar" again.
"That Which Aches" with it's "Aching Disciple"s was also very important to play the late game. After one of the "Aching Disciple" will get destroyed they will not go to the void but into your deck. At best you'll not lose the match because your deck is empty and you can't use your mana. (Play one Aching Disciple and kill it with your Godpower. You will have one card left in your deck.)
Be sure that you'll summon at least one Aching Disciple. I rarely played "That Which Aches" before 8 Mana. At 8 Mana you can give it "hidden" or play 2 1 Mana cards to summon 2 "Aching Disciple" for example.

Anubian Death was a problem. I wasn't really able to defend myself. Pyramid Warden is also Anubian and my opponent would be benefited twice if they kill it. At best I was able to remove all opponent Anubians at the same time so I took only Damage from the Afterlifes. If you can reach late or even end game you'll have a chance to win that match. I was lucky enough that I only played 3 times against death. Before the Weekend Event and after MJ release I lost all of my 4 Matches against Anubian Death. This matchup is the reason I put "Counterfeit" into my deck.
Aggro Light (and still Aggro War, but War isn't relevant right now) was also a problem when you don't get the right cards. In one Match with only 6 cards left in my deck I didn't draw one of my 2 Rapture Dance...
And also Death and Light have too much answers for Pyramid Warden. I don't know if I should replace PW soon when the meta will not change.
