Who is the Doom Bot??
I figured it was about time to write a short introductory post explaining who I am. For all of the people who I have played against the past few months, I want to let the record show that I am not actually a robot (even though my name might give you that impression), nor do I have anything to do with the Doom Bots found in comic books. The "Doom" portion is actually just a play on a portion of my last name which is pronounced like the word doom. I am actually working on my PhD in mechanical engineering. Whenever I finally graduate I might even change my username to Dr. Doom (we'll see how I feel when that time comes). Also, feel free to comment other puns I can use!
Gods Unchained
Like post people on here, I really enjoy studying cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. More so, I am absolutely infatuated with the idea of Play2Earn games like Gods Unchained. I stumbled across Gods Unchained this past summer when I was researching Play2Earn games. It was one of the few games I tried out, and it was the only one that drew me in to the point where I am now addicted! I quickly started trying to learn more and more about the game. I found Copper Pitch's YouTube videos, which are great for beginners. There are several Twitch streamers that provide great content and love to help new players like Copper Pitch and TheeSamBam.
I've been playing for about 2-ish months now and still consider myself a beginner. I was able to make it to the mythic rank using Free2Play decks that I will share on here. However, I usually spend most of my time in the Gold-Diamond ranks attempting the flux wheel (it's quite the struggle sometimes). Since this summer, I have been able to earn quite a chunk of change (i.e. GODS tokens). I think what sets GU apart from other Play2Earn games is that it is actually fun to play and you can earn a good bit of money while playing. If you ever have any questions feel free to ask them in the comments and I will do my best to answer them. Even though I am fairly new myself and I would love to save newcomers from going through struggles that I have already encountered.
