Hello Gods On Chain & Hive hope you all doing all right

I'm Bart and I live in London, moved here 5 years ago from Italy, I work in IT and I'm a bit of a nerd 😂 I like tech in general and gaming, even though I do not have that much time to play nowadays I still own a PS5 waiting for some good games to drop soon 🤞
Here's a pic of me 3 years ago super chilled after eating and drinking with colleagues at a night out lol

I found Hive completely random, I was checking out cryptos on Binance to trade and with some luck made some bucks on Hive, a 40 min trade, so I went to check out more about it and found out about the whole world and ecosystem that exists on it and here I am!
I've been here since around March-April and I hope to stay for good, really love the vibes and I've met so many different people from all over the world and made so many friend, it's truly amazing!
I started using the platform as a way to boost my English, I never used to have a blog or write before in my life, so all of this is really something new and out of my comfort zone 😅 After all this months I'm getting used to it though and even started to explore Italian communities like Olio di Balena trying to drop a post a week, trying... 😅 Time, I always got issues with it!

How I found about about Gods Unchained
I do not remember when and how I found out about GU, but I remember that at the time it did not look that good so I didn't bother playing, completely forgot about it for years and finally signed up few months ago and played a couple of games with the intention to continue, and then I forgot about it again 😂 Damn!
Now that they dropped IMX and everyone is talking about it I'm back on it and slowly grinding my way up! I do not have much time to play but at least now I remember to play it lol

What I think about it
To be honest I like it but I'm not crazy about it. I played for many years at Hearthstone and the gameplay and mechanics of the game are basically the same, obviously the fact that the cards are now NFTs owned by us it's a great step and this mainly is what is making me choose to play GU rather than a game like HS (which I haven't played in over 3 years btw).
GU is a great game and has some important names behind it (e.g. the ex game director of Magic the Gathering) and I'm sure it will only get better and better from now on, so Yeah! I'm sticking around and I will try to play and get some cards and make my way up and most importantly have some fun!

Having played at HS and because GU is so similar to it in many ways I really feel at home playing GU so this is another factor that makes me play it, it's definitely a fun game, there's thinking, a lot of it, strategy, luck, you name it.
Great also to spend time to build your own deck, or just go on www.gudecks.com and check some shit out 😂

I have not been playing for serious right now, just messing around really, one day I will sit down and spend some proper time to study some of the cards, try out stuff and build a proper deck! The one I'm using now it's ok-ish, giving me 60% winrate. But again, I'm just trying basic stuff for now, noob lvl 14-15 lol
I was just playing the basic decks to farm exp and make the weekly plays for the airdrop, then one day I decided to challenge my friend @l337m45732 just for the lolz, I mean he's lvl 80 😂 and he didn't use a basic deck on me lol
The first match I used a basic deck and he destroyed me! Then I quickly went to craft a super cancer kind of aggro deck to try to at least defend myself a bit more than 5 turns lol

It turns our that my retard deck wasn't so bad and that's one I use sometimes, but I really want to find some time to dedicate to the game and create a better deck, explore more the game and all the classes, and have some good fun!
When I used to play at HS I remember using a lot a deck called Face Hunter, it was the cancer of the game LOL, but it was so effective and a great way to rank fast! I will try to create a similar bastard cancer deck here on GU too that people will hate me ahahahahah 😂

Thanks a lot @krunkypuram!
