Cooking has become my new passion. As I told my friend a few days ago, when you want to de-stress and forget about things for a while, do something. I used to draw, which I still do, but now I also choose to cook, look at those crazy recipes on TikTok or Instagram, and try them out to see how they turn out.
In this case, it's not a crazy recipe, it's something common, ha ha ha, but I hadn't made it in a while. If my memory serves me right, it's been since my nephews left with my sister and brother-in-law. I'm talking about some delicious and simple hamburgers.
A few days ago, my dad said he wanted to make hamburgers, so my mom and I took advantage of the opportunity and bought the ingredients. In my case, since I can't eat bread, I made and ate them differently, But for them, I made them simple and delicious. What we didn't count on was that the power would go out that day for quite a while, so these were hamburgers made in the dark.
The ingredients I used were:
- Lettuce
- Tomato
- Hamburger buns
- Ham and mozzarella cheese
- Ground beef for hamburgers
- Ketchup, mayonnaise.

This recipe, as I said, is simple and uncomplicated. Of course, everyone prepares it however they like and adds other ingredients, but here I made it with the main ingredients of homemade hamburgers.

My mom took care of marinating and preparing the meat, while she fried it, I assembled the hamburger. As you can see, the bun is quite large and had chia seeds on top. I cut it in half, added the lettuce, meat, and sliced tomato.
Funny thing happened: I forgot the ham and cheese, ha ha ha, but luckily my mom reminded me, and I added it.
The first burger was for my dad, without sauce, because we wanted to take care of him, but he's quite a character, ha ha ha Anyway, I did put some sauce on the other one, for my mom.
Now, in my case, as I said, I didn't want to eat it with bread, as I was watching my diet, so I remembered my failed attempt at carrot bread. You can see the recipe I shared here , so take advantage of it, but...
And as I mentioned, we had no electricity, so I needed the blender to grind the oats. Then, I remembered that I had a little bit left, and with that I managed to make this one. I added my meat, lettuce, tomato, ham, and cheese, and topped it with more lettuce.

I will never forget this day, as it was the day I lost my daily streak for the challenge of the year. It made me very angry and sad, but oh well, things happen for a reason.
At least I ate my half diet hamburger.😋

Cocinar se ha vuelto mi nueva pasión, es como le dije a mi amiga hace unos dÃas, cuando quieres desestresarte y olvidarte un poco de las cosas, ponte hacer algo, yo antes me ponÃa a dibujar, cosa que sigo haciendo, pero ahora también opte por ponerme a cocinar, a ver esas recetas locas por TikTok o Instagram y asi probar a ver como me salen.
En este caso, no es una receta loca, es algo común jajaja, pero que igual tenÃa tiempo que no hacÃa, si mi memoria no me falla, desde que se fueron mis sobrinos junto con mi hermana y cuñado, les hablo de unas ricas y sencillas Hamburguesas.
Y es que hace unos dÃas mi papá dijo para hacer unas hamburguesas, entonces mi mamá y yo aprovechamos, compramos los ingredientes, en mi caso, como yo no puedo comer pan, lo hice y comà de otra forma, pero para ellos, si se las prepare, sencilla y ricas, lo que no contábamos es que ese dÃa se nos irÃa la luz, por un buen rato, entonces estas fueron unas hamburguesas hechas en la oscuridad.
Los ingredientes que use fueron:
- Lechuga
- Tomate
- Pan de Hamburguesas
- Jamón y queso mozarella
- Carne molida para hamburguesa
- Salsa de tomate, mayonesa.

Esta receta, como dije, es sencilla, sin mucha complicación, claro cada quien lo prepara como guste, y le agregas más cosas, sin embargo, aquà lo hice con los ingredientes principales de unas hamburguesas hechas en casa.

Mi mamá se encargó de adobar y preparar la carne, mientras ella las sofrÃa, yo iba armando la hamburguesa, como verán el pan es bastante grande y tenÃa por encima chispitas de ChÃa, lo pique por la mitad, coloque la lechuga, la carne, tomate picado en rodajas.
Un dato curioso que me paso, se me habÃa olvidado el jamón y queso jajaja, menos mal mi mamá me acordó y se lo puse.
La primera hamburguesa era para mi papá, sin salsa, pensando nosotras en cuidarlo, pero él es todo un personaje jajaja, en fin, el otro sà le puse algo de salsa, para mi mamá.
Ahora, en mi caso, como dije, no me lo quise comer con pan, cuidando mi dieta, por lo que me acordé de mi intento fallido del pan de zanahoria, pueden ver la receta que compartÃ
aquà , entonces aproveche para hacerlo pero...
Y como comente, estábamos sin luz, por lo que necesitaba la licuadora para moler la avena, entonces, nada, recordé que me habÃa quedado un poquito, y con eso logre hacer este solo, le puse mi carne, lechuga, el tomate, su jamón y queso, para cubrirlo, otra lechuga.

Este dÃa, no lo olvidaré, ya que fue el dÃa, en el que perdà mi racha diaria, por el reto del año, me dio mucha rabia y tristeza, pero bueno, ni modo, las cosas pasan por algo.
Me comà mi medio hamburguesa dietética, por lo menos.😋
