Hive-Engine Operations Report and Current Account Status (August 2024)
Two weeks ago we published the current status of the 'Cent Delegations' study. And we announced that we made Cent delegations to five accounts. A month has passed since the delegations in question. As of today, we have taken back the delegations in question. There are a few reasons for this; The 'Cent Delegations' work will expand in the upcoming period. We will make an announcement on this subject in a few days. We will need a lot of Cent power. We did not want to meet the Cent power need by increasing inflation. It is not possible for us to make delegations to everyone who is a Cent curator. We also did not want to be unfair to users who curate by purchasing Cents or accumulating the rewards they earn. Every curator will want to be a curator in their own community. This is quite natural. However, we would have reduced the competitive power of the communities whose curators we did not delegate.
We will continue to support Cent curators. We will reorganize the current status page we published two weeks ago. You will be able to find detailed information about the support provided to curators on that page.
